If you could choose a country to move to, what would it be and why?

Liz and Sab saying they hate Belgium, the very country that welcomed them as refugees, is deeply disgusting and shows a complete lack of gratitude, respect, and basic values. Calling an entire population closed minded and depressed after receiving safety, support, and new opportunities there is utterly shameless. Just when it seemed like they could not fall any lower, broad brushing an entire nation like this proves how completely ungrateful and out of touch they truly are, saying far more about their own character than it ever could about Belgium.
So, I’m in a long-distance relationship. Last night, I was watching a movie online with my boyfriend. We were having a great time, laughing and enjoying ourselves, when out of nowhere, he started telling me about how all his colleagues say they’re scared of him.
He then asked me, "Are you scared of me too?"
I said no, explaining that there’s no reason to be afraid of him, especially when we meet in person, because he’s actually very friendly. He responded with, "You know I can be very evil, so be careful and don't push me to do it." He was extremely insistent about it.
I was really taken aback by this, so I told him, "Me 3andek me taamali l khouf men rabbi," and explained that the moment I ever felt terrified of him, I’d walk away from the relationship because a partner is supposed to bring you peace, not the opposite.
Guess what? He got offended. He got really pissed off over the "me 3andek me taamali" comment. Dude, are you serious? He was clearly trying to intimidate me and expected me to be shaking in my boots. He even told me that when he said what he said, I shouldn't have replied back at all.
Am I really the asshole for defending myself and not letting him intimidate me? I’m genuinely confused because he really made it seem like I was the rude one...
A lot of people know Azza Slimene as the presenter of the Joy Awards. Here in Tunisia, however, we know she is full of it. She tries so hard to present herself as an educated feminist, but the truth is she's a liar with no principles.
The "Supermodel" Lie: She did indeed work with some international brands in the past, but not anymore. She's not landing the jobs she used to, yet she still presents herself as a supermodel. Nobody really knows her like that. she’s no Gigi or Bella Hadid.
The Harvard Claim: She once claimed she was a Harvard student studying political science online (lmao). Where are the diploma and graduation pictures, honey? Also, sorry to break it to you, but you can't just study online to get a standard Harvard degree; you need to attend classes. And she said she was studying sustainable fashion at the same time. Again, where is the diploma?
The Vegan Hypocrisy: Didn't you say you were vegan? Why do you use leather bags then? Babe, if you just don't want to eat meat because it's trendy, call it being a vegetarian. Being vegan isn't just about your diet.
The "Natural" Look: She keeps claiming she’s a natural queen with Carthaginian genes. Stop the lies, babe. At least own up to the filler, Botox, and plastic surgery because we literally aren't blind we can see the changes in your appearance.
The Body Positivity Shift: She once pretended to be proud of her small chest and kept posting about it. Then, boomshe got a breast augmentation. What's ironic is she still posts about self-love.
The Feminist Double Standard: This "amazing feminist" once dated the ex of a Tunisian actress who had publicly cried about the collapse of her marriage on TV. Ms. Slimene then shamed her online and in the media, keeping the beef alive for years.
The TikTok Content: She tries to act classy, yet she goes on TikTok to beg for money with the "kabbas kabbas" nonsense. She used to shame other TikTokers for changing their Tunisian accents, but now she’s doing the exact same thing on both TikTok and Instagram.
The Pride U-Turn: She used to post about the LGBTQ+ community frequently. Now that she knows she can profit from the Gulf, she has stopped posting about Pride. I'm not saying she has to post, but wow she is trying so hard to please her new audience.
The Palestine Stance: Girly shows strong support for Palestine, but she doesn't mind wearing and promoting brands on the boycott list.
My aunt keeps on bullying me and my sister for not being engaged yet. She once told us that our path to marriage is "heavy and complicated" (she was laughing and added, "just kidding"). Two days ago, she sent us a voice note; usually pretending she's joking, she said, "ahla bl 3awanes" (= bayrat).
I always ignore these remarks because I know my mom has her back, even though my mom never says this kind of things to us. The day I made sure my mom would never defend me against her was when my aunt told me, "You need to go to the gym and burn fat" (mind you, my jeans size is 34/36). I told her, "Stop commenting on my body," and guess what? My mom yelled at me, called me oversensitive, and kept blaming me. She kept reminding me that I made my aunt feel guilty, just because I fucking defended myself!
A woman tries to enjoy a simple swim, and a man takes it as an invitation to strip naked and inflict his depravity upon her. The sheer, audacity of male entitlement is sickening! Why are they like this?! No offense to the decent ones, but let’s be real: patriarchy ensures we are never safe. Why do these disgusting creeps have to threaten, ruin, and pollute every single joyful space we try to claim for ourselves?!
Their poor decisions are the exact reason they ended up so messed up.
- Rue shouldn't have taken that suitcase. Fezco tried to protect her, but she didn’t listen. The suitcase debt forced her deeper into the drug trade, leading her straight into Alamo's path.
- Cassie knew exactly how awful Nate was to her best friend, yet she chose to be with him. She went as far as marrying him and trying to cover his debts, blinding herself to every warning sign.
- Nate kept leeching money from investors to fund his lifestyle. If he had just accepted the business loss early on, he would have been broke, but he wouldn't have ended up in debt to Naz.
- Maddy had the chance to leave the diner with Rue, but she stayed behind with Alamo in pursuit of a "big business opportunity." Despite being warned twice, she ignored the danger.
I went out with my friend recently wearing a dress that was under the knees. It had a bit of a décolleté, but I’m not busty or curvy at all, not that it would justify anything if I were, but just to preempt the "you were seeking attention" comments.
What shocked me the most was that I got harassed by so many men, most of whom looked like married family men in their 50s. Some used disgusting words, while others used hand gestures like tapping on their chests. The dress wasn't even revealing; even my friend agreed it was completely normal.
I felt incredibly uncomfortable and genuinely regretted wearing it, just praying I would make it home safe. To make it crazier, this happened in a major city packed with tourists who wear way more revealing clothes all the time, so I wasn't breaking any local norms. At one point, I literally had to threaten one of the men that I would report him to the police just to get him to leave me alone. I'm just so angry and disgusted.
As the title says, as a tunisian I'm really curious. Feel free to share whatever you have in your mind

My mother seems to find it easy to hurt us. Tonight, she targeted my sister and me over a trivial issue. She made us feel worthless by bringing up past mistakes and calling me 'evil.' After she provoked me to my breaking point, I finally criticized her, which left her shocked.
She accused me of hating her. Even though I apologized immediately and tried to reconcile, she rejected me. When I pointed out that her words were also hurtful, she claimed that because she is a mother, she is 'sacred' and exempt from the same standards of behavior. It makes me wonder: does motherhood grant a right to hurt your children without accountability? Dealing with her feels impossible.
Don't get me wrong, I love mini dresses and skirts, but Caroline's uniform is way too short. That length is just unflattering. For someone who claims to love fashion, she should have asked for a piece that’s more comfortable to work in and easier on the eyes. Just my opinion, though!
I find it weird how she calls him "the best father" when her real dad IS alive.
Her real father is also a victim of her cheating/ unfaithful mother
