Where do you get your leather straps?

I think we all know the stock leather straps from Tissot aren’t great and tend to be stiff. I’ve gotten some good leather straps from Amazon over the years for around $25, but it’s always a gamble. I don’t want to always play the buy, try, and return game until I find one that’s just right.

Where do you all buy your leather straps that don’t cost more than your watch itself? I’m a simple brown leather/croc guy myself. Don’t care for rubber or black leather.

Pretty proud I crossed $200k this morning at 31!

I’m not here to brag, I just don’t have anyone in my personal I can share openly with. I’ve had my share of setbacks over the years, but I finally got here after 9 years of investing for retirement. The crazy part is I hit $100k just two years ago.

For context I live in a MCOL city and have been investing 15% Roth for the last few years. Never maxed out any retirement account, just invested what I could.

Good date ideas?

I’m looking for a good first date ideas. Columbia is a good middle point for us both and I’m not familiar with what’s good there or any events coming up.

I’m good with dinner and a walk in a local park after. Or some casual event we could check out together and then get ice cream after.

New painter over here. I smoothed out an old patch and thought my walls were 3/8 inch (and I think other rooms are). But here the rest of the wall looks more like 1/2 inch after I’ve done 3 coats of 3/8 trying to build up the patch. It gets closer each time, but I’m not convinced the rest of the wall is 3/8.

What’s more common for interior drywall? Google says 3/8, but I feel like 1/2 from what I’m seeing around other parts of my house.
