Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?
I’ve had a few lessons over the years and am a middling player (23 handicap). I know I have a scoopy iron swing, tend to early extend and rarely take divots. I want a coach to work with over the autumn and winter to help me rebuild my swing into something a bit more textbook because I know it’s costing me distance and consistency.
No slight on the lessons I’ve had before, but no one has actually pointed out any of the fairly obvious flaws in my swing which set alarm bells ringing for me.
Has anyone got recommendations in the W Yorks area for coaches that have helped with these issues?
He’s doing a show at The Fitzgerald in the Northern Quarter. If you enjoy surreal humour, I saw him last year and it was one of the funniest hours of my life.

Apropos of nothing, has anyone ever noticed the chord progression in this song is the same as the opening two chords of Fake Plastic Trees? Shame I have no such skills as there is probably a good mashup in the offing.
Circumstances mean I may no longer be able to make the Manchester gig at the end of August. Do people think Pulp will carry on after this show? I’m hoping there could be another album and tour in a few years time but not sure if this might be my last chance to see them.
