Does anyone use a door latch step on their Sportage?

There’s various models and styles, all apply about the same force pulling outward on the latch (perpendicular to the direction the door forces are applied) which is concern number 1. The bottom portion is also pushing into the metal body, concern number 2. Internet is split on them, looking for any sportage specific feedback before I make a mistake.

Is this something natural like coral or a rock formation (looks like this), or just concrete with a bunch of shells in it? Washed up on Atlantic beach in Outer Bank, NC, USA.

Emergency release pulled, but chamberlain RJO101 still activates briefly when I move the door manually

It doesn’t spin the torsion shaft, and I feel no resistance, so it definitely is disconnected. Thanks for any advice, or just if this is normal (I don’t recall it doing this before)

Any tricks (other than tape) to get this cap to stay on? Mine always falls off when driving

Aglaonema Maria is drooping, lower leaves dying … came home 2 months ago beautiful - Too much/little light? I only watered once when finger test was dry, is still moist now.

I have it under a 20W full spectrum bulb (about 24” above the plant) since it is in a corner that very little indirect light. I watered it once since getting it, 4 weeks in, and feeling it was dry down to finger depth. I have not repotted it (didn’t look root bounding coming from the nursery).
