Since junglers usually pick pretty early in champ select, I’m wondering what some good, versatile junglers are that I can confidently pick without knowing either team’s full draft.

I imagine playing an assassin into a tanky team with lots of CC wouldn’t be a great experience, also picking a low-damage tank when my team is already lacking damage.

I’m assuming it’s probably a fighter with some CC in their kit, maybe something like Rek’Sai, Xin Zhao, or Lee Sin?

1. When should I take Grasp, Electrocute, or Conqueror? So far, I’ve been taking Electrocute into most matchups and Conqueror into the ones where Electrocute doesn’t seem ideal. However I’ve seen some high level Ambessa players take Grasp into every matchup. I’ve also seen Stormraider’s Surge and First Strike being used.

2. When should I build Lethality instead of Bruiser? And do I need to plan my rune choices around my build? Like if I go electrocute do I have to go lethality?

3. When should I take TP vs Ignite?

Last split, he was only picked 54 times in the top lane, while this split he’s already been picked 301 times, making him the sixth most-picked top laner in pro play.

Also, when playing her top, should I be looking to get lane prio and keep my opponent pushed and bullied under their tower, or are there situations where it's better to let the wave come into me and set up a freeze?

I've been trying out Jax recently, and I'm genuinely curious about what people like about him and what his main strengths are.

He has a terrible matchup spread, struggles to kill most tanks, and isn't that good into ranged champions. He also doesn't scale too well, and a lot of his matchups require him to gain an advantage relatively early. Since he has no real range in his kit, he can't farm safely in difficult lanes or break freezes. And he has no sustain whatsoever.

I'm probably missing something, so what makes Jax appealing to you guys?

I want to play an AP mage in the jungle, and it seems like Taliyah and Karthus are the two most popular choices. I can't decide between them, though. Which one would you recommend?

I've seen a few Jayce players building Fimbulwinter with Grasp, along with some bruiser or even tank items. I'm wondering how this build works and when you would actually go for it.

I’m thinking about adding an assassin to my champion pool, specifically Talon or Kha’Zix. I mostly play fighters, so I’m wondering if it’s worth having an assassin as a backup option for games where they would be a better fit. I don’t want to OTP either of them, though, just have one available when I need an assassin. Which one would be better for this?

How do I decide which build to go on Akshan? From what I've seen, Collector, Kraken Slayer, and Stormrazor are the three most common first items.

He has a relatively safe laning phase thanks to his Q, oranges, and barrels, a global AoE ultimate, scales well, and is a good blind pick. I could definitely see him replacing Rumble now that Rumble has been nerfed multiple times.

I've been following Coach Chippy for a while and have been learning top lane through his videos. One thing I've noticed is that he's been particularly harsh on Ambessa. He considers her a Master+ and pro only champion, arguing that even most Diamond and Master players can't use her anywhere near her full potential. He even says that champions like Riven or Gangplank are more suitable for lower ranks than Ambessa.

Before her ultimate nerf, he recommended her for Emerald+ players. After the nerf, though, he completely changed his stance and now only recommends her for apex level players. Looking at her win rate in most ranks compared to other mechanically demanding champions, she's also noticeably lower than champions like Gangplank and Riven, which makes me think he might actually have a point.

I'm pretty new to jungle. Right now I play Jarvan IV, Wukong, and Nocturne, and I pick Diana whenever my team needs AP.

I'm trying to get better at champion select instead of just locking whatever I feel like. What should I be looking at when deciding between these three?

Also, are these good champions to climb with in Platinum?

Despite having a decent win rate even in low elo, his pick rate seems to increase the higher you climb. Why do you think that is?

I'm considering making Ambessa my main champion, but I'd like to have a pocket pick for her toughest lanes, such as Renekton, Tryndamere, Irelia, and Warwick. Do you have any recommendations for a champion that covers those matchups well?
