I’ve had this pistol for maybe a year now but I cannot find joy in shooting it and it’s not the hammer bite. The edges on the side of the beaver tail (tang?) are deceptively sharp. As the pistol is factory cerakoted I’m hesitant to start smoothing polishing. I changed to some cheap thinner grips and it marginally improved but it still chews up the webbing of my hand.

Any guidance or any experience with the same issue? Is my only option to smooth the edges and have it recoated?

PSA gen 4 with 10.5 barrel 1/2x36. I got the surefire Trilug adapter in the correct pitch but it looks like my barrel threads are too long for the surefire adapter. About 2mm between the adapter and shoulder. Any advice? I’m assuming I’m going to just need to buy a different brand with deeper threads.

Maybe ugly as hell but after reading they were hit or miss, I took the chance on one I found locally for cheap. It’s solid as hell!

Prices and people were great but the overall experience was meh considering I did not get all the parts needed to complete my build and the 4473 process/line was a bit chaotic. Thankfully I have ammo cans full of spare misc parts and was able to complete it.

I’ve sold/ traded many knives since becoming a microtech fan but I often regret this one. I just can’t swallow the price when they pop up used from time to time these days.

My father broke the tip on this godson a few years ago. It’s been sitting since today when I got the urge to reshape the end. Not at all upset with how it turned out.

Wasn’t looking for an Sig but this used P556 popped up near me. Not crazy about the AR lower and I see the Swiss rock and lock lowers are $$$ when found. I am not super familiar with the 556 rifles but am I going to regret not picking this up for the price? No box or accessories included.
