The difference a month can make 🥹
Here’s my pitbull 1 month after leaving the shelter. She’s so much healthier!
Now they’re planning a conference in the same city, same weekend as S26.
Haz modding a dozen leftist subreddits while waiting for his chicky tendies in the toaster oven.
Satire and not AI
Ball is life.
We got Rosie’s feet looked at this morning and they were probably the only thing she had to chew on in the shelter 😭 so she has squeaky balls now, a cone, some steroids and antibiotics, and should be in a better spot this time next week.
Do her paws look healthy?
We have a 3-year-old pitbull mix that we just adopted this week. She's a female, underweight at about 45 pounds. She has been full of energy and barely wants to stay indoors. We've been taking her for walks in the morning and evening, a mix of sidewalks and grass for a total of about 4 miles a day in 2-4 sessions. Her paws are looking a little unhappy. She's chewing on one foot a bit, but she's walking on all of her feet just fine. She's running in the grass without pain.
I've put a little shea butter on her paws in the evenings to help soothe her pads. What else should I do to keep her paws in top shape? I don't think she got much activity in the shelter or in her previous homes, so this is a new level of activity for her. She's practically towing me along of the ride (working on that). I'm new to dog parenting and learning as I go. Thanks for your input.
Boarding house arrangement. Am I being unreasonable? [guest]
I booked a room in a shared unit in a large US city for a business trip. I was expecting this to be someone’s guest bedroom with a shared bathroom. What it turned out to be was a subdivided building with 6 bedrooms off a single hallway with keypad locks and one shared bathroom. Is this normal? There was only one way in or out, no fire escape. It was essentially a boarding house shared with 5 other random folks.
Now that I went back and looked, I see that the person rents out 10 units, all quite similar. It’s essentially just an unpermitted hotel. Is this normal? Am I being unreasonable to think this was very not cool?
So here’s a real budget dagger build for uspsa. Full size frame, compensator, glock OEM mags, import weighted baseplates, import extended mag release and slide release, hogue grip sleeve with howie’s hockey tape, olight pl-3s, Wolfcloak Motion Awake 2MOA Green Dot. Roughly $600 total build including 4 mags. Yes I know my ______ is cheap. That’s literally the point. Shoots great.
