I'll be honest, I had no idea this was a TBBT spin-off at first. I probably wouldn't have watched it if I knew. I started watching SFTSTU because I like Lauren Lapkus and Brian Posehn. I'm really enjoying it! Maybe I'm the only one, but I hope they phase out TBBT cameos and easter eggs less as time goes on. The concept and style is good enough on its own.
Was that Toddrick Hall dancing and clapping at the beginning? I've seen the movie twice now and both times thought it was him.
I saw Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages in LA tonight. I thought there was a scene where Joseph Bouquet's hanging corpse falls from the rafters, scaring everyone and sending Christine and Raul to the roof. But there was no corpse. The chorus girls screamed but nothing was there.
Do I remember it wrong? Did they remove it because it's too graphic? Or was it a technical mistake for this night only?
I saw Hadestown for the 13th time and Les Mis for the 5th time last week, and I just noticed something. The "marching in place" choreography that the workers do during the reprise of "Wait for Me" is the same marching choreo from "Do You Hear the People Sing" in Les Mis. Which is very appropriate, feels like it must be an intentional reference.
