Feasibly a fish tank because it looks like the aquariums in the historical books I used to collect pdfs for. One of them had a bunch of different hobbies for learned gentlemen of leisure. Really neat stuff. Back when google books had good stuff.

Technically, since this is a pitcher plant and the pitcher part is made of modified leaves this is a leaf urinal. But that’s neither here nor there…
