My boyfriend has been using Zyns for a long time after quitting vaping and cigarettes. I started using them with him after I quit vaping, and I’m trying to quit nicotine entirely now. He keeps telling me he will quit with me “one day” and it may or may not even be a permanent quit, he might just do it to prove that he can. I’ve discussed the health issues it can cause but he says he just likes the way it feels and he doesn’t want to quit. He’s been using nicotine for much longer than I have, like probably 8-10 years. I’ve only been using it for about a year. I’m sure that makes a difference but still, when I see him put in a zyn, the outline of the tin in his pocket, even just knowing he still does zyns and I don’t - it all just makes me want to put off quitting until he does. Advice is welcome - not necessarily looking for it though, just venting.

I quit 4 days ago cold turkey and the cravings for zyns usually aren’t bad. I’ve been popping mints and gum and usually it helps with the little cravings I have. But every night since I’ve been having dreams about vaping lol. I have never had dreams about them before and the cravings for a vape are so much stronger and harder to fight than zyns. I used zyns to quit vaping but now that I’m done with it all I’ve never wanted a vape more. I’m broke which is the only thing stopping me from grabbing a vape. Will the cravings ever go away?

I feel like I have tried it all. I make my boyfriend wash himself before sex with unscented dove soap. I only use unscented dove soap around my vagina (only on the skin/parts that grow hair, nowhere else). I have tried taking ph balancing probiotics. I always take antibiotics for yeast infections as prescribed and the problem clears up and then comes back days later. I recently went to a gynecologist and told her this has been a constant issue and she suggested I take antibiotics off and on for a week and see if that fully clears things up. Surprise, I was good for a few days and now I’m back where I started. It’s embarrassing. I don’t even want to have sex anymore because I’m so self conscious and I worry that I’m just making it worse by doing it so half the time I tell my boyfriend no anyway. I just feel hopeless. I am so beyond frustrated, I just don’t know what to do.
