Seeking Credit Card Strategy / Mentorship, CIBIL 799, Just 1 ICICI Credit Card, nothing else.

I currently have just 1 credit card ICICI Bank & it offers no reward at all.

I am keen on cashback, discounts & travel.

My last ITR is 12 lakh indian rupees. I am self employed in my own private limited company. Current card limit is 60k but bank is sending sms to increase it to 1.2 lakhs.

I am great in financial management. I actually avoid loans. But now I believe my discipline should be rewarded via credit card rewards.

I am seeking a credit card strategy/mentorship.

Immediate expenses are paying health insurance premiums, buying a new mobile phone. I can do both of these company expenditure. Future will be paying utility bills, business invoices, GST, income tax, travel etc.

I applied to tata neu & some IDFC card last year but they rejected it somehow (I showed employed instead of self employed, that created a problem)

My current CIBIL is 799 (checked just 3 days back)
I have paid off 2-wheeler loan many years back.

No other loans to my name right now.

****Preferred rewards, in their priority order:-

  1. Cashback (unlimited or maximum possible)

  2. Flight / Hotels

  3. Restaurant / Hotel vouchers etc

I am NOT interested in free movies etc

CAN SOMEONE GUIDE ME what should be next card and subsequent cards after that ?

Has anyone here succeeded in getting fully funded PhD with only a bachelor's degree ?

I Have 15 plus years of industry experience.

Wish to pursue Design Science Research in leveraging multiple disciplines to solve B2B business problems.

I have had a huge discussion with Claude & according to claude a brief description is:-

" I am designing a market, implemented as a system, running on a network, governed throughout by behavioral mechanism design."

"I am studying it through Design Science Research, iterating through Action Research cycles, and evaluating against Information Systems own success & trust criteria"

I have BAG (Psychology + Maths) Bachelor of Arts General

and a diploma in Export-Import management

If you have been able to get a fully funded PhD (or a masters + Phd program) using only a Bachelors degree, do share with me your experience.

General comments also welcomed from everyone.

thank you

Best practices to get Started with MINT. No prior linux experience, SWITCHING from MICROSOFT to MINT.

I wish to exit the microsoft universe & work with linux.

No specific complaints, the windows OS will be out of service soon, my laptop is kinda old & it hangs whenever I tried to operate Cursor, Anti-Gravity or even Google Chrome. Surprisingly VSCode worked smoothly.

A LOT of people suggested MINT here https://www.reddit.com/r/linux4noobs/s/mBmIgfvzDw

Can I somehow keep my windows OS on my laptop & run MINT on a flash drive or something, to test my comfort & then maybe make the switch afterwards?

My system details are as follows:-
Processor (CPU): Intel Core i3-6006U @ 2.00GHz (Dual-core, 6th Generation).

RAM (Memory): 4.00 GB @ 2133 MHz.

Storage: ~1 TB (932 GB total capacity, with 206 GB currently used).

Graphics: Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520.

Device Model: HP Laptop 15-bs0xx.

Gemini suggested Linux Mint to me, but I would love to hear community suggestions.

Please share your recommendations or just what you chose for yourself

with maybe a short explanation / reason, why ?

Appreciate your help

New information EDIT below:-

*** HARDWARE UPGRADE

I will be adding 8GB more RAM, I amtold my total RAM will become 12GB after that

256 SSD in addition to the 1TD HDD

Is there anything that needs to be done in hardware ?

*** USECASE:-

Run ERPNext software, Brave Browser, Libre Office or some other OFFICE suite

Run VSCode, Anti-Gravity, CLaude code or something else

I am an entrepreneur building my own software.

Can US users do local ACH transfer to JP Morgan checking account ? or should I ask her to SWIFT to India using WISE ?

My customer has a weird small community bank account whose app didn't work & 2 visits to branch also did NOT work.

I wonder if my US client can use wise to do local ACH transfer to my JP Morgan account ?

Is local ACH transfer better or should I ask her to do SWIFT direct to Indian account ?
