I'm not a nurse or doctor and I feel very ashamed and unworthy

That's it, the title says it all 🥹

I did public health because I really resonated with its message. Public health is more on prevention and bigger populations while medicine focuses on treating individuals, but it's been really hard finding a decent pay that's also full time.

Even my own dentist (who's Filipino) is low key shaming me and keeps telling me to do nursing.

Beadbadobee is the Filipino representation I relate with instead of OR

I grew up in the US, lived here for 90% of my life but I still speak two Filipino languages at home with my parents.

When I see other Filipinos (esp from the Philippines) praise OR about how she's "so Filipina," I feel like my experiences and journey especially as a full Filipino will always be over shadowed by a half white half Filipino figure. No hate to half white and half Filipino. It's just growing up watching Filipino TV shows, everyone is already almost half white or mixed. So to see someone from the US (which is supposed tonbe more diversed and accepting), that's white passing like OR constantly get called as the filipino queen, I feel disconnected.

That's why if I had to choose between the young female artists, I would choose Beadbadobee as my Filipino representation. She even has a music video set in the Philippines. Meanwhile OR is obsessed with Britain.

For lack of better word, when will the hyponsis stop?

Cannot think of any other celebrity where if you mention one drop of criticism, you are considered the devil because Olivia is such an angel and cant do harm.

It seems like everyone is in an hypnosis state with Olivia, and I feel like it does more harm than good especislly towards her younger fans thinking its okay to sing or expose or make stuff up about her ex/ex's gfs

Regrowth hair is ugly, any tips?

Regrowth hair is so ugly. Mine grows out with split ends, blonde, or has a white like dot at the end. As you can see pn the bottom left of the picture of hair on my hand, one of them is blonde at the very end.

Besides pulling my hair, ive been going through my hair and trimming off the hair strands with a blonde tip to it (this is probably better than pulling) but I am so fixated on perfectlionism. I am trimming them off right where the blonde tip or split end is at because if I dont cut the blonde tips I feel like they are going to form a split end.

So sick of trending items w/ long lines (Trader Joes, Labubu, Stanley)

Family pressured me to join them in line at 4 am for 3 hours for Trader Joe's tote bags simply because they want to give it out in the Philippines because it's "trending." Showed them other options like the 99 ranch bag tote bag but they said its not trending.

I'm sick of this whole trending craze. First Stanley cups, then labubus, an now a small tote bag with no zipper. I'm unhappy because I was looking forward to the weekend to sleep in after a week of work but now I have to bow down and suck it up or else I'll be secretly called ungrateful and selfish to not be in line for hours just to send family from Philippines gifts.

I try to live a minimalistic lifestyle and not succumb to trends (my room is the most minimal in the house).

Its not even about the line, I would wait in line for necessities like groceries, but waiting in line for a bag that might be in the landfill the next decade? Sorry but no.

Have to join them again tomorrow at 5 am. Sorry if I sound rude.

(For reference, only child, also help with finances, already said no but told they have health conditions so its best I be there)

Recs for wide toe box hiking shoes

Ive been hiking on and off for a few years but never got hiking shoes. I mainly just use my sneakers thats worn out because it works well for me when going up hill (only going downhill is bad because the shoes have no traction). I want to get wide toe box shoes because I feel like it will be healthier for me

So far I only know of Altra shoes that ive seen physically in REI and barefoot shoes called lono Wear (idk if barefoot is good for beginner hikers though - i could be wrong?)
