A month ago I posted a trailer here that didn't show my game, and you rightly called me on it, so here is a trailer that actually does
Last time I posted, the top comment was basically "this is a trailer for your game that doesn't show your game." Fair. It was an in-world advert for a device, and I let the title oversell it.
So, plainly, what you do in this game: you sit at a desks at a Consolidated Dynamics secret facility and work multiple office job. Operating a switchboard, stamping documents, filing, sorting mail, assembling products on a line,operate an Enigma style machine, among otherthings. Seated VR, everything within arm's reach, no locomotion.
Twelve(or more based on the ending) in-game days, each one a morning memo tape, a work session, an evening, and sleep. The tasks get stranger, things get more absurd each day and The company never acknowledges that anything is strange.
Everyone else in the building is a cardboard cutout, and the company has an explanation for that too.
A couple of things about the trailer itself, in case they're of interest:
There is no music in it. None. The rhythm is the work — a cable clicking into a jack, a stamp hitting paper, a filing slot closing. The only continuous sound is tape hiss, and the loudest moment in the cut is when the hiss stops.
Every word you hear is the company talking to you. It's the new-employee orientation cassette, playing over your first day. There's no trailer voice and nothing narrating from outside the fiction. Someone last time compared the vibe to the Aperture Science ads, which is exactly the target, so I'll take it.

wishlists genuinely help, but mostly I want to know if this one actually answers the question the last one dodged.
u/fdruid u/Archersbows7, u/Confident-Beyond6857you asked for this one.
I have not uploaded the trailer to steam yet, wanted to get some feedback first
- should I remove the first few seconds ( my wife thinks so, my friends thinks I should keep it as a hook)
- is the sleeping conversation too long
- what do you think of the new cutouts ( u/Robot_ninja_pirate , u/Frosty_Turn7154)
After a year of dev, here's the trailer for our corporate dystopia VR game, Good Morning, {Employee Name}
I know the teaser trailer does not really show any of the Gameplay
am currently working on a gameplay trailer and hope it's ready by next week
if you are intreguied maybe visit the steam page, and if you like what you see maybe add it to wish-list
