Hi all. I’ve had two positive betas:

July 31 - 10dp6dt - 350
Aug 3 - 13dp6dt - 1450

We’re over the moon 🌙 but our next touchpoint isn’t until Aug 20 (TVUS) when I’ll be 7 weeks. I’ve seen other people with many more betas. Should I ask for another beta in the interim? Or to move the US sooner? Just feels like a very long wait.

Id love to get my sis an amazing book for her birthday but all my recent top reads are kind of sad and heavy.

Open to fiction or non-fiction, she’s a writer in the side (so writing has to be 🏆) also a doctor and a big runner — but my instincts she just needs a truly great, upbeat, maybe funny, maybe not book.

I’m stunned to learn both embryos are aneuploid. And because our clinic and the donor fulfilled their agreement (2 healthy blasts), we have no recourse—no money back, no additional retrievals, no new donor.

Had anyone been in this situation? I’m completely astonished and devastated.

And the answer can't be "just keep him inside" because he's an outdoor cat—always has been, always will be. I've read that you need to bathe your animal after it comes into contact with poison ivy, which isn't really realistic, because I don't know if he's come into contact with it until it's too late. I read that it's not safe to use Technu on cats. I could wipe him down with a rag soaked in Dawn dish soap, but that feels tedious. And there are plenty of times he doesn't have it on him. We've taken steps to remove PI from our property, but it's all over our neighborhood.

Has anyone developed a system or process for managing this with their cat or dog?

We’re using a 32F egg donor who’s been medically and genetically cleared by my clinic. It cost upwards of $40K and we’re guaranteed 2 embryos. I’m 42F with secondary infertility due to age. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read they’d retrieved 13 eggs and 12 fertilized (my husband is 40M and normal sperm). I just heard today only 2 embryos were sent for PGT testing.

Is this typical to have so much drop off from fertilized to embryo at that age? Those numbers were close to mine — though all of mine were abnormal. Just feeling frustrated we don’t have more embryos to work with after all that money and anguish and energy.

👋 hoping for some advice from the group. I was planning to transfer via modified natural cycle earlier this month. My clinic cancelled it after my dominant follicle (right side) failed to grow and my estrogen dropped **(**97 pg/mL to 67.2 pg/mL) overnight.

The thing is they checked my follicles around day 12 and day 13 but I track my ovulation very carefully and know I usually ovulate around day 18. Even after the cycle was cancelled I continued to test with ovulation strips and had a positive result (solid smiley) around day 17 after three days of blinking smileys. I also had left side ovulation pain (cancelled dominant follicle was right side). And my temp increased like clockwork around day 19.

They’re now pressuring me to do a medicated cycle. I originally agreed but the thought of all those meds and injections is awful. I really want to be successful though so I’m torn. Should I try a modified natural again? Or go for the medicated?

Can anyone help me understand how the first set of PGTA testing yielded a fully aneuploid +15 embryo and on second biopsy got a fully aneuploid triploid result? We used Luminary.

I already had my doubts about the accuracy of PGTA and this just fuels the fire. I now have 8 aneuploid embryos I’ve been told to discard and am questioning every result we’ve gotten thus far. Any advice?
