Looking For Lingerie Like Madam X Collection by Dita Von Teese?

Hi everyone! Title is self explanatory, but I am looking for lingerie that is more on the "femme fatale" and "vintage inspired" side of things. Bonus points if they include garter belts in their product line! I already checked out What Katie Did and I love their stockings, but their vintage inspired pieces didn't really speak to me.

Edit to add: My budget for lingerie pieces usually is from $40-$90 a piece and my sizes are L/XL :)

Thank you in advanced!

Working Out During Lunch Break?

Hi everyone! Does anyone ever do their workouts during their lunch breaks at work? (if time permits) With it being summer time, I’ve been running around like crazy and I’m having a harder time getting to the gym early since I have to stay out a bit later and don’t want to sacrifice sleep.

With that, Ive been thinking of working out during my lunch breaks at work on the few days that I can’t get there early since my PF is 5 minutes up the road from my job. Has anyone else done that? Or you've already tried it out? Did you love it? Hate it? Is it better to just deal with the after work crowd instead?

I’m use to being on a time crunch so having to get out of there in a timely manner is not too much of a bother to me. I just want to hear other opinions and experiences tbh.

Best Light Up Wheels for Outdoor Skating?

Title speaks for itself! I feel like there are so many light up wheels out there, but I see a lot that are dull and I'm worried I won't by wheels that give the "look" I want (which is bright and fun! lol). Thank you in advanced!

went to pf for the first time after work instead of in the morning and sheesh

tldr off the cuff cause this is just me complaining lol: A perspective of what it's like to work out after work instead of in the morning. Once you start working out early in the morning, you will never go back

--

I've always been someone who goes to the gym pretty early in the morning (around 5:30-6AM), but yesterday I slept through my alarm and got the bright idea to go in at around 7PM instead just to "try it out".

I mistakenly thought the after work crowd would've been filtered out by then, but I was totally wrong. I actually had to go to a different PF because the crowd meter near mine was really high, so I found one a little farther away that seemed way better.

To make it easier I'm gonna make bullet points of what went down:

- (this one is my fault) I forgot teens got in for free, and that contributed to the crowd

- I've never ever seen a LINE FOR A MACHINE??? by the end of my workout, people were still waiting to use the glute drive machine omg

- I am used to smelling some type of funk at the gym cause everyone is sweating but bro this place STAAAANK it was like every time I went to a new area, BO would hit me like a truck

- sitting on the phones for over 10 minutes........................................................................what are we doing

- playing TikToks out loud huh

- (my fault again) I am not used to working out at night at all and was doing band-assisted pull-ups and maybe I was tired from the day, but I could not even do one ;-; this has nothing to do with the gym this was just a skill issue lol

But yeah...it was a mess and I will just set 10 alarms from now on.

edit to add: more whacko behavior occurred but these were the main things that made me go "Um what the hell??"

Missed Connection With Girl on NJT on the way out of NYC

Saw a girl and her boyfriend (I guess?) fighting on the train after the Puerto Rican pride festivities this past Sunday.

She was in a Puerto Rico flag tube top with a white pleated skirt and was arguing on the train with her boyfriend (who was wearing a jersey and had a PR flag sticking out from under his hat). I wish I had stepped in and just told her to drop his ass because she was BEAUTIFUUULLLL and he was just...not and clearly dngaf about her. I regret not going up to her and telling her that she needs to free herself from that mess and just live her life.

I hope she sees this and realizes her worth. Like omg DROP HIM! I overheard her saying, "I spent so much time defending you [boyfriend] to my friends," and I get not letting go cause all that will feel like a waste, but baby take that L and GOOOOOOOOO and live your best life without some miserable guy there. It will hurt for a bit, because everything does, but you will be happier.

I Want To Date But I Feel So Back and Forth About It

Hi everyone!! 😃 To further explain the title, I (27F) have been thinking about starting to casually date since I have never done it before. I was in a serious (and my only) relationship from 18-22 before we broke up. After that, I went on dates with two people but decided I was not ready and wanted to focus on healing from my break up instead.

Three years later, and I think I am ready to meet people again and casually date since I never really did it before. To make this even more complicated, I do not really know if I want to be in a relationship and I have this moral issue of "am I just wasting people's time??" but then I'm like "wait, don't I have to date to even find someone I would want a relationship with??" ahh it's an endless spiral...

TLDR; I want to start casually dating to see if I would like it, but is it wrong to do that when I am not sure if I even want to be in relationship?

How To Cope With Feeling Miserable at 9to5 Job?

Hi everyone!! I need some help navigating mental health issues while I work at my 9to5 job (every day in office).

For some initial context:

- I have been diagnosed with OCD (no not the "I need to clean everything!!" kind...) and anxiety

- I actually love my job and it's filled with great, supportive people.

- I am an office manager so I kind of just do...anything we need.

Now with that context out of the way, I have a very difficult time with spiraling out at work. Sitting at my work desk all day long makes me feel like my life is worthless and then I begin to start ruminating on the past as well so all day I just have one bad thought after another. But the MOMENT I leave the office, I feel better as if the spiraling never even happened.

I have tried going for walks every couple hours, going to the gym before work to boost my mood, making sure to pack a nutrient rich breakfast and lunch to keep my blood sugar from dropping (which also makes me miserableeee and crash out), listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks, and even play YouTube videos in a little window on my computer screen. Also, I have tried working from home but I just do not get a good amount of work done. None of this works and I just do not know what to do because spending 40 hours a week like this has been taking such a toll on me.

I think the answer might just be "an office environment does not work with my brain chemistry" but I CANNOT go back into retail and unfortunately, my dream job pays pennies and does not offer very good health insurance lol So it's either I find ways to cope or....keep trying to find ways to cope lol
