Hi everyone, complete beginner here looking for advice 😅
I have basically zero experience building PCs and honestly don’t even know where to start, but I want to build a full gaming setup for playing with friends and potentially streaming eventually.

I don’t need absolute top-of-the-line parts, but I am willing to save up for quality and would rather build something solid that will last me a while and can be upgraded later.
What I’m hoping for:
•Smooth gaming performance
•Ability to stream casually
•Good multitasking
•Something beginner-friendly to build/maintain
•A setup that won’t feel outdated immediately

I’d also appreciate recommendations for:
CPU
GPU
Motherboard
RAM
Storage
Cooling
Power supply
Monitor(s)
Keyboard/mouse/headset
Anything beginners commonly forget

A few questions:
1.) Is AMD or Intel better right now for gaming + streaming?
2.) NVIDIA vs AMD GPUs for a beginner?
3.) Is building a PC actually manageable for someone with zero experience?
4.) What budget range gives the best “bang for your buck” these days?
5.) Are there brands/components I should avoid?

I mostly just want a reliable setup that looks nice, runs modern games well, and gives me room to potentially grow into streaming.

Any advice, build lists, beginner mistakes to avoid, or YouTube channels/resources would be hugely appreciated 🙏
