the reason I say 100% lab grown is because current lab grown pork uses a small part of pork to cultivate more so its still sorta from the animal, so the 100% lab grow meat is just a hypothetical but still interested in knowing.
I was arguing with some dude about veganism on twitter, he actually seemed to care about animals somewhat. We were debating his backyard chickens and he said a couple things in response to me that I had trouble responding too, one he had heritage chickens that don't lay too many eggs so they are healthier and he doesn't murder his chickens when they slowdown on egg production, he lets them live which is super good and stuff and he does seem to treat his chickens good. So I don't really know how to argue against it. The reason I'm asking here and not the vegan sub is i feel like they would just say its fine.

all three are useful but
they're so similar to assault aside from main weapons, if you compare them to swat/cia classes which vary in armor, backpack slot, and equipment slots you might as well just give assaults the option to take their weapons.
support is definitely usefully to lock down an area and are better than assaults in that regard but you have to find a location to put them, first hope it has cover (but it is optional tbf) either push with assault first or smoke then get into position, and then you have to hope that there's actually enough enemies so having made trading them for an assault worth it as an assault is fine taking on one or two at a time and you can pull back a bit to reload then go back even if it leaves you exposed for a bit. one last bit suppression action its useful for opening windows and smoking then firing aka not suppressing the enemy its just kinda weird I don't really mind it tho.
my complaints about marksmen are similar to support but you cant really use an assault to replace it so it gets some bonus points.
grenadiers again are useful but far too niche most of the time a grenade is gonna be better because you don't have to expose yourself if the target is too far away then you use a grenadier with a smoke but still its so niche.
with all that if you compare them too the way other squads work with classes each one is used on most maps (besides maybe militia they kinda suck tbh) and serve a pretty good general use case, sapper for explosions, black ops ambush/assault, undercover full stealth, militia overwhelming units, leader being pretty flexible, its weird having the majority of ranger units have such low use cases when at least for me i would prefer to have another row of assaults especially in campaigns.
what I say is add another row to assaults and give the weapon options to assault so you still have the options without having a bunch of dead weight, also remove some backpack option and create some new classes to give them to I'm not too creative and don't know that much about game design but adding sappers would be nice as having a unit who can quickly add multiple wall charges would be nice maybe they can have a quicker deploy speed for door and wall charges, another useful class would be recon with the snake cam plus maybe they can add a throw bot or a drone but that might be too op idk, overall I would just like some more specialized units that you can use on most maps rather than ultra specific units.
