1922 (?) Flared Pants found for $6 - need help for proper dating advice!

I found these at a thrift store today for $6. They seem to be a handmade pair of flared pants, they have a very unique piece in the front that I haven’t seen on other pairs of pants ever, with 3 flaps and 14 buttons to fully close them. I couldn’t find any exact match on the zipper but I know Talon made zippers prior to 1920s, and the lack of belt loops / a tightening system on the back does support the idea that they could be from 1922. It does seem odd but maybe make sense that someone would stitch the year they made these into them.

I also can’t make out the chain stitched name that is on the front flap, but I’m very interested in hearing potential theories and any help dating!!

Reisher Scholarship Confusion

Hello! I am an incoming transfer student for the 2026 fall semester, and I’ve made it very far in the process of the Reisher scholars program. I made it past the interview stage but haven’t heard anything back yet, I’m assuming I was not selected but wanted to see if anyone here may have been so I can confirm for a fact they have made it past the selection stage? There was no harsh deadline but just getting so close to August I’m getting worried that it has passed.

Very heavily searching for this mineral tee

If anyone has any leads, I’d really appreciate it. I can’t even find a private collector willing to get rid of theirs. One of if not my all time favorite band so this is a holy grail to me. Trying to find in a L / XL

Currently downsizing, saying goodbye to a lot of cool horror

Not a selling post, just wanted to give these guys a proper and warm goodbye lol.

Everything pictured has been thrifted or bought locally over the course of the last few years, and it’s excluding my more rare tapes. Don’t give up!!

Looking for smaller music venues

Hello everyone! I’m booking a tour for my band independently and Vegas is the last stop that we haven’t booked yet, so I’m looking for smaller venues that I can reach out to! Preferences towards places open to hardcore / metal shows. Thanks in advance!

Fake? Factory code misaligned and wonky back pockets. Everything else looks great and the factory code even matches the tag.

Very strange pair to me, but maybe I’m inexperienced in finding fake Levi’s.

Alternate Poster and Logo I made!

It’s not unique to say that I loved this film, but man what a good movie. It may be too early to say this, but I think it’s secured itself a place as one of the greatest films of the last decade, it balances the line of having something to say and being a scary ass movie perfectly. Another piece that drew me in so much was the visual direction, it takes on a very intentional, 80s / 90s VHS type atmosphere and aesthetic, that only does well for it in my opinion.

I felt that something like this deserved just as much intention in the poster I designed for it, so everything here is here on purpose. (Spoiler warning Below) Obsession is not about Bears fears, it is about Nikki and the horrors she endures, so it feels fitting for her to be the subject. Another aspect I wanted to subtly reference is the trope in Hollywood known as the “Headless Woman.” Classified mostly by the posters for comedy films, (Super Troopers, The Comebacks, Staten Island Summer, etc… it could go on) the Headless Woman trope is a way to publically dehumanize women by removing their heads and showing them as only parts for the men to enjoy. Subtly referencing this trope plays into what obsession is all about, how men go unchecked and these horrible things happen.
Obscuring Nikki’s head also serves as a reference to her humanity being removed. Once the wish had been granted, she was no longer a Nikki, no longer humanized, she just became something for bear to enjoy and have to himself.

Overall, I tried to capture similar visual cues that the movie did, I loved the visual direction and felt they fit so well. The dither effect here is supposed to have that sort of late 80s / early 90s feel of the early internet, as well as serve as a nod to the often cheaply printed one color sections of magazines like Fangoria, that were ads for mail in orders or lower budget movies.

The Catcher In The Rye 1st Ed. 3rd Print

Found this beauty at a thrift store a few months back with no DJ for 1.99. I ended up making a facsimile and today she’s getting shipped off to the new owner, thought it was cool enough to warrant a post here before no longer being in my hands.
