i (f24) have the biggest crush on my friend (m26) and to be honest lately we become closer emotionally, he started opening up to me more and telling me things he tells no one, often calling me pretty and we would call for hours on the phone even after he’s tired from work so silly me kind of got my hopes up… 😬 last night he told me that he still thinks of his ex situationship and that she probably is the only girl that had an attractive personality and not only looks and texted her congratulations for her graduation so they can start talking again🧍♀️

the past few months my group of friends merged with a group of men, basically because one of them has a crush on me. i know they are talking about me in their group chat since they haven’t made any effort to actually hide it but i’m really curious on what could they possibly say…. i don’t like him back and everybody knows it but dude just doesn't give up. recently one of the other boys in the group asked me on a date and i felt confused about it since i know the other guy genuinely still likes me and even forbid some of them in the past to even follow me on instagram. the other weird thing is that i’m close to one of them (in a friendly way, like i really consider him my friend and not an acquaintance) and it got revealed that when i revealed information to him about my dating preferences, two of the guys interested in me knew about them…
SUPPOSEDLY awkward shy guy in my friend group was talking to me for three weeks trying to find a day to go on a date (our working schedules weren‘t compatible) and when we actually met up, he wasn’t that touchy, started showing off that girls approach him and do the first big move, talked to me about his ex and it sounded like he still likes her, told me that he likes two of my friends and that they are pretty and he let it be implied that he just asked me out to make our mutual friend who likes me feel jealous and hurt and when i asked him about it he just dismissed my question and changed topics….
during all this, i was silent because i was shocked and the more he talked, the worse things he said
i really don’t understand this. our interactions BEFORE THE DATE felt so natural, he looked very awkward and was blushing and smiling when we were talking, found excuses to be near me, we have the same interests and honestly i know i’m his type meanwhile my friends who he mentioned aren’t at all. of course i’m not gonna meet up with him again but this interaction made me feel so lost and confused. he was a complete different person. why do all of that? if he wanted to make his friend jealous he could have said that it’s a date only to him, why mention to ME that it’s a date and treat me like that?
at the end of the date he even looked tired and pissed off???

okay so my best friend is very pushy about me finding a boyfriend to go on double dates with her bf but when i‘m interested in a guy she’s always so negative. she ALWAYS keeps on saying that this guy doesn’t like me back and i’m misunderstanding him when in reality 80% of the times it was mutual. it’s not even about the guy actually liking me back, it’s her negativity and every time the first thing that comes to her mind is “he doesn’t want you” and that annoys me so much to be honest. even now she kept saying that this guy just wants to be friends with me and literally yesterday he asked me on a date… i really don’t understand her

hello. currently i’m seeing this guy that i have known for half a year and we have gone to two dates the past month and he’s okay touchy with me but it feels so friendly…? i’m not sure if it feels friendly to me because i’m very affectionate and maybe to him is a championship having linked arms or something but he hasn’t made a single move to even kiss my cheek and i’m starting to think that maybe he doesn’t like me enough 😕
okay so there‘s this guy that likes me and he’s very aware that i don’t like him but you know he is still lowkey trying since he likes me a lot. the weird thing is that his friend also likes me and even though he knows that, he still invites him to everywhere we go, constantly praises him in front of me and even made him a permanent addition to our friend group. his friend also sometimes seems to be panicking when he’s being caught showing me interest in front of him. am i the only one who finds this weird? what is their thought of process??
