Where else am I suppose to dispose of my Bathroom Banana Amuse-Bouche?!?

Seen at a Bahamian Resort. I did follow the rules! No bananas, cans or TP roles were flushed down the potty.

Note: That’s not ish…promise.

AIO: A Rat Fell on my Head.

I like to spend my evenings relaxing in my luscious backyard under an overgrown wispy tree.
There is a transformer and main electric running the length of my thin backyard.
My dog likes to chase the rats from side to side. The rats like to hide in my tree. My tree has very soft branches that hang down low.
One night the rat my dog was chasing got too low on one of those branches.
Said rat fell on my head. MY HEAD! And then scurried away with my pup close on its tail.

I’m traumatized. My husband said I am overreacting.
So Reddit. Am I?

TLDR: A rat fell on my head from my backyard tree and I think it’s a bigger deal than my husband does.

Cute baby but come again with his/her name..?

Braxlee?

Brackleigh?

Brackslea?

I couldn’t tell the gender, and dressed in trendy baby beige, so no help there.

All I know is my poor, overworked autocorrect is hurting with my spelling attempts.

I currently work three jobs. One of which I am sometimes in a managerial position. When wearing that hat, I always make sure to reply promptly to anyone asking me a work related question. If by chance I don’t have an answer or I’m busy with other jobs or life in general…I always make sure to send a quick acknowledgment text and “I’ll get back to you when I have an answer” reply. I think that is a professional way of conducting business communication.

The reason I think I might be an asshole is because it does not seem anyone else has that mentality. Across all three jobs I can send time-sensitive wage/work related questions and literally get ghosted.

The specific issue that prompted me to post this involves my pay rate and since paychecks are going out today, I would like that fixed beforehand. So am I just that annoying person that expects prompt and reasonable replies to work related queries? Even just to tell me “hey I’m working on that”?

I’m obviously doing something right to have been promoted to a coordinator position in one of my jobs. I take it very seriously and even have my phone on Loud at all times to make sure I don’t miss any calls or text. But it does not seem across-the-board that anyone else holds that same mentality.

So Reddit, am I the asshole for being frustrated? Or is it, like I think, common courtesy to at least let me know you received my text. TIA!

Figured this group might get a tickle out of this tree growing out of a stop sign!

I’m here often and it’s first time I’ve noticed it. Wonder when they gonna cut it down.

Nature is amazing.

I have naturally thick and healthy hair. I don’t do much with it but a few months ago decided to start working on my hair care routine since my gray hairs are increasing.

So I got an expensive spray in vinegar product from a friend’s MLM side gig-Step one. Then a blue tinted strong dandruff shampoo recommended by my mom. I had an issue as a child , and although I don’t anymore , she still thinks I do and wouldn’t take no for an answer, so I use it-Step two. Finish it off with a salon purchased conditioner-Step three. I finally feel like a grow up!

Thankfully I do not wash my hair often. Maybe 2/3 times a week. It’s now a 3 step process. Spray in vinegar product. Let it sit. Lather up with neon blue shampoo. I can feel the tingle! Finish off with my expensive conditioner. Wow! So many suds. Must be working! I even bragged to my friend the amount of lather I was creating.

Well, my hair is left feeling tight and not soft and smooth AT ALL. I touch base with my friend. She suggest it just takes a while for my hair to get used to the new routine. So I keep at it. Determined to do right by my hair!

Today finally my hair feels soft and smooth and amazing! Why? I actually happened to look the label of the expensive conditioner. It was….Shampoo….

I’ve been stripping my hair oft its natural oils for months thinking I was being a grownup and having a hair care routine. Vinegar spray then dandruff shampoo, finished off with normal shampoo?!? Guess I’m lucky I have thick hair and don’t wash it often. I found and used some leftover conditioner and it’s a noticeable difference. So….

TLDR: TIFU by trying to destroy my hair by using a 3 step hair washing process that I thought was vinegar spray-dandruff shampoo-expensive conditioner. It was actually just three steps of shampooing. Maybe I’m not as grown as I think.
