Chicken of the woods spot

Hi. There is a huge COW spot by me. West midlands/black country/Cradley heath

I've harvested some but seems a shame to waste. Is it etiquette to share spots? Do other foragers share?

I had some tonight - fried in butter with chilli and garlic salt. Fucking delicious.

Chicken of the woods Midlands UK

I appreciate this has probably been done to death but I want to harvest and eat this if it is COTW.

Growing in a wood in the Midlands in the UK taken today 16th Aug.

Is it chicken of the woods? Is it ready to eat?

Thank you in advance

Greatest piece of prose in print?

The Granton Star Cause. Always has me in bits.

Also worth listening to the lads on the Junk Dilemma podcast thoroughly enjoying themselves talking about it.
