Saw a cb lvl 3 today in the Varrock Museum with 71 slayer, exclusively lamping from the museum and going for an untrimmed slayer cape.

It got me thinking of how RuneScape has such an incredible amount of autonomy of choice. When I used to play WoW as a kid, I’d always feel like I was just competing for the next set. Running the same dungeons and raids. I’d always go back to RuneScape (and later OSRS). *In WoW, everyone is grinding for a drop and running the same content and the devs know this so they shrunk the early to mid game and with every expansion, your items are useless. RuneScape some dude just refuses to do combat but specifically wants to train a combat adjacent skill and he’s doing that with xp lamps solely from an activity released in 2007. I really can’t think of a community or a game that embraces many of these emergent ideas.

You just really never know what all of these psychos in the game are up to. Just for the love of the game.

*yes I know some people in here have done red prison like 10,000 times, I’m just saying there are more options in OSRS

Happened before I got to the bridge. I arrived around 7:30ish. Paramedics on the Brooklyn side at the entrance. Up the east side there was a gurney with a woman on it as they traversed down towards the Brooklyn side. Looked to be a gray electric Citi Bike and a regular black bicycle involved. A man was rolling both down behind the paramedics.

Hope the woman was all right she looked pretty worse for wear. A lot of bridge accidents these days. Please be careful.

Can’t recover. I felt it after some regular rides and then I did a 75 mile with a bunch of climbing last weekend. Then, I did some 50 miles this past week and on my normal chill rides my legs felt exhausted. Never been in this situation before and I’m a bit upset and have been mentally down.

Since Wednesday I haven’t been on the bike but I can still feel the fatigue in my legs. Any advice?

Edit: for some additional context I typically ride 100 miles every week, have done centuries, and long rides pretty regularly over the past 2 years.
