.. so... my (F, late teens) friend (F, late teens) recently got that new Tamodachi Life game, and she's been obsessed with it. literally made every single person she knew into a mii character in the game. We were just lazing around in my university's food court during our lecture gap, and then she exclaimed: "Oh! come, let me make you into a mii!". I was really happy at first, since I'm not really used to being included in things like that, so I appreciated it a lot. But when she got to the skin color selection, she just.. put my charecter into a whole darker shade than what I really am. (I'm around #bf966d, and she made my character's skin #784d22.) I tried to play it off as a joke, and sort of complained that games/character makers never have my skin color as an option. And she agreed, but then she still went with a color that darker color, saying "Yeah, this is the most accurate!" ..In my head, I just went, "huh?" But I didn't say anything. then she went ahead with buying an outfit for that mii character, built it a home and everything, I was just a bit.. bothered the whole time. Of course, I don't let it show. I don't wanna be an asshole, but still, it sucked.

Why is it bothering me this much? I pride myself in how racism and such stuff doesn't really bother me. because after all, it's just a skin color? but it's still bothering me a lot. I might be a weirdo or even somewhat racist for being this bothered. AITAH?

So: i spent almost six years (from 2020 to 2026 just working on my digital art skills, learning how to sketch, color, render, ectect. Just trying to get better at art. But now that AI has gotten this good, especially at anime-style art, I literally lost so much commissions. I used to get at least 5-6 commissions a week, but now? Heck no. I lost every dang customer to AI. Now I only get commissions around.. once a month? and usually it's usually just pity comms from my friends,,

just WHY did AI picture/video generation have to become a thing? I hate it so much. It makes my blood boil every time I look at an AD or a peice of art just to realise that it's AI. Please rant to me about your hatred too.

how is this a sub.. this is so funny. also I saved like 30k primos for dottore only to spend it all on Nicole and R1 lohen. why? buzzed I'd whether or now dottore's gonna be playable and I lost hope. please help. is there ANY chance he's playable??
