want to transfer to christ main but need a honest opinion on it

i am doing bba (hons) in a scottish uni in dubai and my first year is over (direct entry second year cuz i got 75+ for 12th boards) and i m not satisfied with the student life in dubai and when i hear abt the college life experience and connections my other friends make it makes me feel that i m missing out on a lot and i m compeled to take a transfer in mid 27 to christ university as they are one of the few universities with a transfer policy and i m aiming for a sem 5 intake (which is year 3 for me) and delay my geaduation by 9 months cuz i will be ending my course in the current uni by september 28 if i continue . I m willing to take a few months delay if it means i m gonna be having a proper college life and ill be able to live and manage life on my own rather than being w parents rn. I need honest opinions on if its worth the hassle🙏

Regretting my choices

I don’t usually do this, but I wanted to hear some different perspectives because this has been on my mind for months.
I’m about to start my second year of my BBA in Dubai this September. I completed my schooling here as well and I live with my parents. Lately, I’ve been wondering whether staying in Dubai for university was the right decision or if I should have gone to India or somewhere else for higher studies.

A lot of my friends studying in Europe or India talk about how much they’ve grown, the experiences they’ve had, and the university life they’ve built for themselves. Meanwhile, I’ve found a few good people here and there, but I still feel like I’m missing out on the kind of independence and experiences that come with moving away from home.

I keep wondering if things would feel different if I’d studied somewhere else—not necessarily because I’d have more friends, but because I’d have been forced to step out of my comfort zone, become more independent, and build a life on my own. That’s the part I think I crave the most.

Part of this is my own fault. When I chose to stay, I wasn’t fully aware of how much living away from my parents could shape me as a person. Now, at this stage of my life, I find myself yearning for that freedom and wondering what I might have learned if I’d taken a different path.

Also, as a side note, I’m not really a party person. I enjoy going out occasionally, but I feel like Dubai can be difficult to enjoy as a student unless you’re willing to spend a lot of money.

Headlight fine

i got this fine on june 27th for absence of back taillights in my rental car which is a montero sport in abu dhabi. the time is 4:15 which i assume is early morning and that was when i had to pick my friend from the airport and i had surely turned on the headlights before hitting the highways and i have confirmed with my friends who accompanied with me. i m not sure when this fine was issued and if i could dispute cuz if my headlights were turned on then my rear light should obviously be turned on asw. should i dispute or leave it?
