What should I do now? What do you think?

I am 29 years old and have been taking hormonal contraception since last November (Azalia for about 6 months, then the Slynd mini pill for the past 1.5 months). I switched from Azalia because it was causing low mood.
During the first month on Slynd, I had no issues, but over the past two weeks I have been experiencing very severe mood swings. I have no motivation or energy, I feel anxious for no apparent reason, I am afraid of the future, there is very little that brings me joy, my appetite has decreased, and I cry over everything.
I have always had some mood fluctuations, but I have never felt this down before—especially now, when things in my life are actually going well. I also don't usually feel this low during the summer.
My partner and I are going on a two-week beach holiday in the second half of July, and I'm not sure whether I should try to stick it out until then. Is there a chance that these symptoms could improve by that time?

I’m also afraid that if I stop my mood swings will be worse

Minipill and sever mood swings, depression? Anyone similar? How long will it take for my mood to return to normal after I stop?

I took Azalia for six months, and then switched to Slynd two months ago. I was hoping my mood would improve compared to when I was on Azalia. During the first month, it actually seemed better, but over the past two weeks I've had some very severe emotional crashes, with feelings of guilt, self-hatred, uncontrollable crying, a sense of inner pain, and a terrible mood. Also my Vyvanse medication started to cause anhedonia in the evenings, which was not an issue before

Anyone similar with progestin only pills?

I’m 29 years old. I’ve been taking hormonal contraception since 2025 november. First I took desogestrel (Azalia) but I changed it to drospirenone (Slynd) becaused i had constant bad mood and emotional instability. I’ve been taking Slynd without the placebo since april (1 month now) and I felt that my mood improved, my period stopped completely (with Azalia I had irregular bleeding). But i noticed with both pills that in every 4 weeks I have a horrible mental breakdown for days with hopelessness, anxiety and depressive symptoms.

Before taking contraception I had PMS symptoms but mostly with emotional instability but not this severe low mood.
