Why so many people argues that murugan was a king from kumarikandam. He civilized other people in south india then some indian regions.

I also heard that a tribe in turkey or iran was so connected to india and their idol was murugan.And some gods in other civilization were the different names of murugan. And also some regions in Afghanistan were connected to murugans name.
