What’s an unspoken social rule that you think is actually funny?
I was thinking that there are so many unspoken rules that we blindly follow without even questioning it. One of mine is sitting alone in public without people questioning if I’m okay or waiting for someone. Curious to hear what other unspoken social rules people experience.
For men who chose to go their own way & step away from dating, what gives you meaning in life now?
Went to a get together with some old classmates and one of the guys were asked about his dating life, he told the group that he is going his own way and stepping away from dating completely and it got me thinking what do men who go their own way find meaning in their new life.
What are the common stereotypes- both positive & negative for Asian Women
Scrolling through social media recently and I keep seeing the topic of Oxford study, apparently is a meme regarding Asian women dating white men. This made me curious and wanting to ask about the stereotypes on us Asian women.
ELI5- Why do we sometimes get a strong ‘gut feeling’ about something even when we don’t have proof?
Everyone prolly has that gut feeling sensation once in their life but can’t figure out how to prove it, so what is it all about?
How do you politely decline someone who cold approach you in public?
I’ve been in many awkward situations where I am outside, sometimes eating and sometimes just strolling in malls. And I get cold approach by men that I do not particularly fancy. The worst part of it all is the awkwardness when I involuntary evoke when these incidents happen, I try my best to stay calm and just give a smile and most times just say sorry I got a bf but some of them are persistent and even asked for proof?? What’s the best way to even deal with such situations without risking my safety because I heard from some of my friends that some men might get violent with rejection
