After for far to long. I finally got a good service in my st36! Now it may drop in rate or amp or beat error in the next week since this was my actual first successful service (I still have plenty more to learn) But heres hoping!
edit: if this continues to keep good time I may put it in a 6497 orphan pocket watch case.
Hello, I had a idea. I recently watched a video about wastefulness of humanity, especially when it comes to collectors of watches. I do understand not everyone that collects watches are wasteful because if that was the case I would also be wasteful. But I had an idea to possibly get more use out of potentially wasted f91ws. Buying or giving your old watches to people that may really need them. Now im not saying give your Batman GMT Rolex from your grandpappy because you dont wear it much to a homeless dude. What I am saying is, perhaps its a decent idea to just give old still working watches to homeless people. They always are asking for the time in my experience so why not just give them a way to keep it so they dont have to ask for it all the time? Not everyone has a phone so I honestly thought it would be a cool idea to do. And perhaps make someones day with such a gift. Could be a stupid idea I just had a thought and wanted to see other peoples opinions.
Ive been practicing servicing on an st36 and cant seem to find the beat error adjustment? Shouldnt there be a slit for a screwdriver?
Ive broken atleast three mainsprings with this thing and I dont know how it keeps happening. The bridle always ends up getting kinked and bent to shit. I need some tips or something helpful from someone who also uses these. And yes I know I can buy the bergeon sizes I need but im not willing to give up on these things yet. Lots of people have had success with them.
I have moebius 9104, D5 , 9501 and 9010 and some 8000. Should I get decent results from these?

Ive been carrying this thing daily and lost it (fell out of my pocket im guessing) Its been outside for probably about a week and the rust got to the blade and the mud stained the handle and everything. I have no before. I cleaned the rust off and got everything unseized and this is what it looks like
now. Suppose I could of just bought a new one but im attached to the thing.
Im certain its initals but I honestly cant really make out what it even says. Wondering if anyone can read this better than I can?
