After sleeping in the back of the 4Runner for 2 years on camping and offroading trips, I finally decided to focus on space and comfort. This is the Sterling Adventure Co Wasatch Lite tent.
I’m a new Costco member, just did my 2nd trip there today for gas and a couple grocery items.
I did my first ever trip on Sept 28th when I bought the 24 pack of pasture raised eggs for $7.89. Today I went again to buy more of the same eggs and the price increased to $8.99 for the 24 pack. I’m not complaining since it’s a great deal, but do the prices typically fluctuate like this on items? Or are certain items cheaper during the weekdays vs on the weekends?
Dinner tonight: boneless ribeye with garlic powder & an applewood rub, peas, & southwest style corn with poblano and red peppers
Dinner for the week: BBQ + cheddar cheese sausage links with peas (or southwestern style corn) & mexican style diced cauliflower
The meat was bought from a local butcher shop. The peas and corn were canned. The mexican style diced cauliflower is a frozen microwaveable side bought from Wegmans.
Simple but gets the job done. Fresh pound of ground beef from the butcher. 3 sweet potatoes (also from the butcher). Packet of taco seasoning on the beef. Olive oil, ground cinnamon, and a little brown sugar on the sweet potatoes (cooked at 400 degrees for 45 mins in the oven). Frozen microwaveable green beans with a little garlic powder.
Debated between the HC belt and the Phlster Enigma. Ultimately decided on the HC belt because it seems simpler and easier to manage. Very comfortable so far and sometimes you barely notice you’re wearing it.
Do you guys suggest I also clip some of the tops of my shorts in with the holster as well? Or is just clipping to the belt only ok?

I never wear shorts because they ALWAYS ride up and I find myself constantly pulling them down between my thighs. My fellow thicker thigh girls… what about the Wunder Train shorts? Do they ride up like everything else? I live in the south where it gets so hot outside and I want to go for walks in something other than my Wunder Train leggings 🥵 but I have not found anything that works for me.
