GPT was stumped

I may need to cross post to biology or marine biology but this thing was found with a crate of lobsters. it is not lobster related it is a byproduct/ foreign object. Could be a scrap of bait, although we get pieces of bait in crates all the time, I’ve been doing this job nearly 10 years and most of my coworkers are the same 5-10 plus years experience. None of us have seen something like this.
Dead ended not a through and through hole, fleshy, meaty type feel, the white “teeth” things are not hard but soft. The other side of it was just dense meaty feel.
Finding this answer will not help me in anyway except closure because it’s bothering me I don’t know what it is.

DONT TRUST ANYONE with a huge skeleton middle finger on the hood and DTA in the grill. I can’t help but post this, as it is so cringe to me.

2021 Silverado 1500 custom 4.3L

I’ll park, switch my key like you normally would but it’s stays stuck in the first battery position, sometimes I can leave them and come back in about 10 mins and they’ll come out like normal.

Things I’ve tried: graphite dry lube, shaking wheel while turning key, slamming it into park, psychically pushing the truck to rest in park more? Idk.

Took it to the shop today since I was getting sick of dealing with it they said I need a new ignition lock cylinder and new key(s) quoted at $675. I guess A. Is this a fair price? B. Should a truck that’s only 5 years old need a whole new ignition?

TLDR: my truck key gets stuck. Shop says $675 new ignition? Fuck me good? Fuck me bad?
