I log into today May 21, and try to initiate another next-day transfer. they website tells me I have $0 of next-day availability left for today. Cheats.

No. I used up the $2500 from May 20.

May 21 is another day.

Now, I won't get my money until May 27. I should be able to get my money on May 26 since 23-24 is a weekend and 25 is a holiday. Scumbags.

It has been 6 weeks and still no credit.

I contacted Citi and told me to wait 2-3 statement cycles. It doesn't take that long even if the small print says that it might.

Last year I e-Filed 2024 federal.

As I was preparing my state return I realized I had made a mistake.

I immediately filed an amended return the next day.

With the original return, I was to get a refund. With the amended return, I owed taxes.

Since I eFiled the amended so quickly, I thought that the IRS would ignore ignore the original return. A few weeks later the refund hit my checking account.

I didn't know how to return the money.

As expected, today I received a letter asking for the money back plus interest. The interest rates they used varied from 6% to 7%. HYSA were paying about 4%.

Anyway. how should I have handled this initially so that I didn't owe all that interest?

Last week I ordered 4x 50 bags for same-day delivery to my friend in AZ. I am on the east coast.

Then at about 4 pm ET, I refreshed the Roadie link that TSC gave me to track the order and learned that the delivery was canceled.

The next day Tractor Supply told me that the store couldn't find the order. Not sure I believe them.
