I finished my first souls game elden ring last April. I requested that game in this sub for 22 times I think. While I requesting that elden ring, I was saving money to buy that game. Finally after 22 times, I bought it for 260$. Yep. Elden ring cost 260$ in my country currency.

I don't regret it tho. I done two playthrough and enjoyed every moment of it.

Now I itching for another souls like. I have never played Bloodborne. I know people in gaming community love that game. Those ppl also love lies of p on pc. So I check it out. I watched the gameplay and yep I very much want to play that game. That sfx when u hit enemies is so satisfying even in elden rings and the weapons. I always go for big bonks weapons with faith build. I also love the steampunk genre. Something about past having future technology is really intriguing to me.

Tbh I don't know anything about this game like mechanic, bosses, level. I watched the reviews and twitch stream and read some steam reviews. I just want to fight bosses with my big hammers and explore the world.

The game is now 29.99$ which 150$ in my country currency. I live in a South East Asia county. We are second poorest county in the Asia. I can't leave the country because we live under dictatorship. All of my friends left the country right after the dictatorship took over. Since then gaming is becoming my things. I asked my aunt to buy me second hand 1050ti gaming PC last four years ago. I worked as freelancer video editor with that pc. Bought 3060 16gb and i5 1240 in this four year.

I have 400$ USD in my bank account. That is money I earned after four years working as video editor. My yearly salary is 2000 usd. I can't spare 30$ to buy a game I can't. I have to pay rents, wifi, foods, utilities.

I bought aaa games recklessly last three years. I really can't in this year. I have to control myself as I have more responsibility.

The game normally costs 40$ in my country currency which is 11.99$ on sales,Back when inflation wasn't as bad, I used to buy games under $10 all the time. These days, even discounted games feel expensive.

I've been pirating single-player games for the past two months. I'm not broke, but I can't really justify spending money on games right now.

I've wanted to try an extraction shooter ever since Arc Raiders was announced. Unfortunately, that game is still very expensive for me—around 180,000 kyats in my local currency.

What draws me to Hunt: Showdown is its Western Southern Gothic aesthetic. The game feels dark, witchy, and gothic, which is exactly the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. It's also one of the few extraction shooters where you're extracting with a bounty from a boss rather than simply collecting loot, which I think is a really cool concept.

The new Road to Hell update also caught my attention. Some of the environments remind me of Battlefield 1's Verdun maps—gritty, atmospheric, and full of character.

I'm confident I'll get well over 100 hours out of this game. It has a steep learning curve, but that's part of what makes it appealing to me.
