Confused bw Political science (hons) and sociology (hons).

I'm filling my DU CSAS preferences and can't decide between Political Science (Hons.) and Sociology (Hons.). I genuinely enjoy both subjects.

My long-term goal is UPSC CSE and later a master's from JNU.

A few questions:

Which course helps more with UPSC preparation?

Does DU's Political Science syllabus overlap well with CSE?

If I take Sociology (Hons.), is choosing Sociology as my UPSC optional a good idea?

For JNU, which is a better path: M.A. in International Relations or M.A. in Sociology?

Would love to hear from DU/JNU students or UPSC aspirants.

Thanks!

Guys how's dr BR ambedkar University, delhi? for Ug courses BA(H), ? whats your experience and how's the teaching staff! please if anyone has studied there, so just wanted some real talk from people already there or passed out. How are the facilities like classrooms and professors etc idk that much about clg things, is it good for BA(H) And what's the scene with non-teaching staff, are profs chill/ friendly. Also, how does AUD actually compare to DELHI UNI in terms of academics nd especially for humanities? And do you guys get good opportunities like internships, societies, events, fests placements, or is it mostly on you to figure things out? Would love some honest opinions.
