Just bought one on Newegg at 430usd with taxes (yeah yeah I know, TERRIBLE PRICE) and I'm wondering how has been on your use case and how has been performed

My use case will be 1080p gaming, vide editing with davinci resolve, emulation y some game development with Godot

My other option was a 8gb 5060 ti at 360usd so I don't know if it would be better that one in particular.

Any type of help or advice will be welcome

New card prices are crazy expensive where I live so gonna buy something used below $200 on ebay. The two options that got my attention are the a750 and for a little more the 2070 super. I know the Nvidia one is older but right now I'm in need of a graphics card for 1080p gaming, some video editing and emulation.

Hey everyone, I need an outside perspective because I might be overthinking this.

I've (25M) been talking to this girl (don't know, but maybe between 19-23) for about 4 months. She works a from 9-6 and goes to college so not much time to see each other in person I guess. At first she's was a dry texter and kinda shy, but over the weeks and months she has shown some interest, initiated conversations sometimes, and sometimes she asks things about me or even shares one or two things with me.

On Monday, I asked her out for ice cream in Friday at 6:00 PM right after she gets off work. She happily agreed.

The day of the date at 9:35 AM (hours before the date), she texted me this: "Hey, can we move today's plan to next week? I have some college assignments due today that I totally forgot about" followed by a crying doge meme.

I kept it cool and replied an hour later: "Hey, no problem, I understand. We'll reschedule when you can. Good luck!" and sent a funny cat GIF. She hasn't responded but I guess she's busy.

Well, at the end of the day she scheduled the date for Tuesday 16.

I don't know if something it's happening here or maybe I'm not seeing something. Any type of advice or recommendations will be very very helpful, thanks!

Seeing and confirming what many of us were though about guts origins and his fusion with the astral side of him I was thinking about final fantasy IV and how guts shares a bit with the protagonist of that game, Cecil.

In the game Cecil is a black knight how uses dark sword magic at cost of his life power making him very strong, but when he has to fight Golbez who's a dark lord he realizes his dark path of the sword doesn't work so he has to go in a journey to become a paladin, a warrior of holy light.

Curiously for he gain that power he has to face himself alone, his dark side and with that knowing what he his and what he must do in the world changing him not only physically (white hair and saint armor and sword) but in power and purpose from a dark warrior who wants to kill a very bad guy to be the savior of his world.

I think something similar will happen to guts and while many of us thinks this will ruin the character and the manga I think it's fantastic cuz it puts the character of guts in a main role in the world he lives because he's not normal and those who are not normal fits a major role in the world and now....I think after too long it's guts turn to know finally what he is and what he must do not only for him but the ones who share this world with him.

Recently while I was searching an ups for my gaming PC I just discover the PSU inside has active PFC and doing some research I discover sine wave ups are recommend, but where I live they are very expensive and I can only afford simulated sine wave ones and I would like to know if using a simulated sine wave PSU can in some way damage my PC

I'm kinda interested into that controller because the dpad and non membrane face buttons, but in some reviews they say is awful for pc because the polling rate and other things and instead they recommend the direwolf 4 which is more cheaper, but I'm kinda hesitant because the membrane face buttons can maybe last less, specially when I play games like hades where you have to spam the dash button.

Another controller I was thinking was the ganesir G7 he, but I'm not sure how confortable will be that dpad, specially on 2d games
