A friend told me his wife is not particularly fond of big speaker boxes so I was thinking to keep the volume large but make them "invisible" I'd just make them look like art on the wall. Ended up with a floor standing stereo version - each section has their own woofer/tweeter. The main panels shoot straight but the top and bottom are angled to widen the sound stage. People have said it feels different than a regular stereo because you can walk around and still enjoy a pretty decent sound image.
