I'm Making Another Humans-In-EaW Mod, Where Should I Put It?

As the title says, I want to make another sub-mod that adds humans to EaW, I'm currently thinking World War Era USA, but I'm not sure where to put them. I want something that'll provide a unique experience, and I'm also a fan of the 'Zero to Hero' concept, so they'll likely start off small and decrepit and build their way up. I have prepared a map with marked regions, please cast your votes on which region you think would be best, I favor islands for this concept, also I'm leaning towards South Zebrica but I see great potential elsewhere.

If you had something else in mind, please tell me!

Trains, Do They Become Obsolete?

I'm playing a custom pack that effectively removes the need to use trains for transporting items, power, liquids, or people. Is there any reason to use them? I tried looking into making an artillery train, but the whole big cannons mod seems impractical to me.

The real question here is, what do you use trains for that isn't transportation?

What Songs Have You Heard That Send A Shiver Down Your Spine?

I don’t mean in a creepy sort of way, but rather in a ‘hell yeah’ way. I’ll go first:
The first time this happened to me was with the song “Alapu Upala” from Godzilla Singular Point. It was mostly due to the setup of the song and how it’s used, but I distinctly remember hearing the song again after watching the anime and I felt exactly the same way as when I first saw it, even now I’ll occasionally listen to the song and I’ll feel as if I’m watching the entire anime for the first time.
The second time was very recent with the opening theme from “Origin: Spirits of the Past” I got chills immediately, since the music compliments the scenes that are being shown, and the intensity of it hit me hard. And then they had it again at the very end and it was wonderful.
Have any songs hit you in the same way? I’d love to hear them.

[RevShare] 2D Artists Needed for a Godot Engine Game

I am looking for 2D artists for art and animation, though just doing art is fine.

The game is called Wyvern Ward and it started as a Drakengard fan project. So far there has been some progress with creating the first level, though this project is still in its early stages.

The Revenue Share system is based on how much work you do, wherein your work gets you points, which are then compared to the total number of points that have been given out, which determines your percentage of net profit.

Please reach out via Reddit DM's if you have any questions, would like more details, or would like to join.

Can You Switch The Listed Company On Steam?

I am working on the demo for my game right now, and in some months I would like to publish it to steam. However, I don’t want to form the company yet and get the license since it’ll be at least a year after the demo release that the full game is ready, and I’d prefer to not pay the annual llc fee if I don’t have to.

I was wondering if I could release the demo under my name, then later on form the company, change the listed company on steam, and publish the full game. Or is there a large liability issue involved here as well?

[Hobby] Come Join The Wyvern Ward Project!

What is all this?

The Wyvern Ward Project seeks to create a legally distinct 'spiritual successor' to the first Drakengard game, all assets used will be of our own making, and the actual implementation will be distinct enough that we will avoid any copyright claims. The game will be published for free on the internet once it is complete, but we are just getting started.

What we need:

I want you to join us if you have any skills to lend, what we need right now are 3d artists, but more programmers are always appreciated, as well as lore experts. Sadly, we are poor, and cannot afford to pay professionals to work on this, which is why we're looking for ultra fans of the Drakengard series to help out. If you don't want to spend the time to work on this, or if you think you don't have the necessary skills, there is still a way to help out, spreading the word about this project would be a massive boon to our cause!

Why should you care?

If you are like me and you love DrakenNier, then this project is for you, and following it is a must. If you want to work on this project then you can claim it on your Resume/Portfolio, and if that doesn't interest you then maybe the joy of working on a passion project will...I know that won't convince anyone, but still, join now, become one of us.

Want to learn more?

If you are interested in hearing more about the project before joining, or if you're ready to join right now, then please reach out to me via Reddit DM's.

I was looking at this display case and wondered about this plaque, no one at the base speaks Japanese/knows about it so I thought I’d ask here what the words mean.
