How Do I Sell? (I will not promote)

I have a BI product that many people resonate with, from executive down to worker level. Unfortunately, after three years, not a single contract. How do I sell? I’ve had discussions at the worker level, the CISO, level, and with peers in the space. Everyone seems to like what I have, have no negative feedback (just additional feature requests before purchase, then that target shifts again), but no one signs.

Less of a “what am I doing wrong”, and more of a “what do I do, I clearly don’t know how to do this part”. I’m bootstrapped, and running out of money.

Parking in Handicapped Spots

Just…why? Every single time it drives by one in FSD looking for a parking spot, it is in love with the idea of parking in one… sign posts, painted ground, neither seems to matter.

+1 for ditching Hostinger

After this A-record deprecation, my site went down. Kodee keeps pointing me to non-existent menu options, tech support keeps giving me circular advice that doesn't work for my DNS registrar, and the customer support takes five minutes between questions, which effectively destroys troubleshooting on my end. I'm so done with this company.

Edit: I leveraged cloudflare. So the their domain flattening, I didn’t blow up my google mail connection, so that’s good. Got it working. Replacement site will be a different host in the future.

Anyone else moving away from Marriott?

Lifetime platinum, and Marriott in the U.S. has been in a nosedive since COVID. They optimized their profit model by focusing on franchises a while ago, but since COVID, the franchises seem to have gone for the lowest possible cost on everything. No lounges, no service on weekends, no breakfast buffet on weekends…. Properties are tired looking, I’ve given up on letting them know when something non-essential is broken or dirty. I pretty much only stay at Hyatts now, which really is disappointing after racking up so many stays over a decade and half.

Am I just old and cranky? I wish I wasn’t so disappointed so frequently with Marriott.

Saved my )&@mn life

Don’t drive tired… four hours of sleep, 9 hour day, playoff game for a kid followed by a late dinner, then had to drive 300 miles for a morning meeting out of state… pushed myself too hard.

Toward last the end of my journey at 3:30am I woke up to the FSD dinging and flashing blue after having nodded off for about 30 seconds. I’m behind a truck at 75 miles an hour and changing lanes to get around it.

If I was driving my old car, I’d probably be dead. Holy shit.

Just throwing this out there to the veteran crowd…. The part where you go in the basement and gather artifacts hit in the feels. Yeah, the reality is, after a long military career… the relics aren’t about war, they are about the men and women themselves. Easy to forget that stereotypical military representations usually ignore that they are actually just real people doing what they do for the things that matter the most for them. Was good to read.

I have seen references to "Standard mode no longer has..." and "If you want autopilot, get premium; if you're only doing highway driving, don't bother with FSD"... But also "no models get Autopilot" and "Autopilot is discontinued" as well as "it is now traffic aware cruise control with autosteer, but it's the same thing" ... I get my Model 3 in two weeks, and I still have no idea whether I need to drop $100 on FSD or not, just to get that feature. Does anyone know for sure? I'm getting a premium AWD, and i can't find a definitive answer. TIA!
