Walked in on something a little rough last night. This morning there were big patches of white fur all over the ground. Gave them their privacy because I assumed it was romantic but all the hair after makes me think fight.
We're on Brilliant Lady right now and having a blast. This is our 3rd Virgin Cruise and, even though it just started, it's been lovely...
BUT
Every time we go to the social club its absolutely packed to the gills (great!) and there's some event going on (okay!) and there is a cast member absolutely screaming into a microphone trying to wrangle a large amount of people into the event (ow! No! Please stop screaming!)
Things I understand: it's cold out! Nobody wants to be outside and they're inside looking for stuff to do. It's hard to be heard over large groups of people!
BUT
It's the end of summer. They've done these routes a few times and I've seen them receive similar feedback on this subreddit. They need to figure something out for sound that isn't a microphone dripping with feedback and some poor 20-something cast member trying their best. Maybe it's a different venue? Maybe it's a decent microphone that connects to speakers?
The other cruises I've done I really enjoyed the social club. It was a nice place to have a snack and watch some sports or play a game, but I can't even be in that part of the ship which is a shame because ya girl loves a soft pretzel.

We found a rabbit by our trash cans earlier this year and he's brought a lot of joy into our family since and I have been trying to capture that joy in art. Today I tried stamp carving for the first time and I loved it. How easy and satisfying.

Little canvas bags for gifts. I mixed the dye and froze it in silicone muffin cups. I scrunched and shoved the bags into the bucket, sprinkled with soda ash, covered with about an inch of crushed ice, placed my dye cups (took a picture) added another inch of crushed ice and let it sit for 2 days. This group gives me so many ideas.
I made a little rig in the cup by jamming two holes on the side and suspending a binder clip on a string that I tied off to make a loop. I cut an "X" in the bottom and jammed the shoulder of the shirt into the cup and clipped it with the clip then hung everything from my shower caddy. Keeping it real.
I wish I used less ice. It's gorgeous, though. I feel like I'm being wrapped in a cartoon of a peach.
This extremely healthy dinner is thanks to a fun but long road trip where we were racing the sunset to get home and didn't have time to stop for food.
Yes I grew these blueberries. Well, these blueberries grew themselves in the yard of my home and I beat the birds to them and they're incredible.
As for the chips? I keep trying hot honey things assuming I will love them because I think I like spicy-sweet things but I think what I really like is cowboy candy and I wish hot honey tasted like cowboy candy. So I don't love them. Girl dinner.
He looks forward to doing it again. One by one I will meet all my neighbors and bond over our terror of Bun Bun
I used a collander and a bucket for the first time to do a decently big batch of future Christmas presents. Shout out to the Redditor here the other day doing golf towels because I have a golfer in the family who's very hard to buy for and I think he's going to like this sock and towel set.
He will use the funds for his future plans.
And if you touch the peets he kill.
