I've travelled across most parts of Gujarat and used bus stations in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot and many other cities. Honestly, the new Surat Bus Station looks like it could be one of the best in Gujarat!

Especially because the old Surat station was honestly one of the worst I've seen - even some village bus stations felt better. 😭

This new one looks like a massive upgrade, with bus + railway + metro connectivity in one place. Hopefully, it's maintained properly for years and the authorities keep up the good work.

But we citizens also have a responsibility - don't litter, spit, damage property or misuse facilities. Let’s keep it as good as we got it.

What exactly does "Non Target Company" mean? Has anyone else faced this? Were you ever approved later?

I've applied for the Amazon ICICI Credit Card four times, and every application has been rejected without any reason.

My profile: CIBIL Score: 785 I already have an Axis Bank credit card with a ₹1 lakh limit Regular ITR with a decent income No missed payments or defaults.

I'm genuinely confused about what's causing the rejection. Has anyone else faced something similar? Were you ever able to find the actual reason or get the card approved later? Would appreciate any insights or suggestions.

I was planning to buy a portable SSD around February 2025. Back then, a good 2TB Samsung SSD was around ₹15–16k, but I skipped it because I managed my storage somehow.

Today I checked again, expecting to buy the latest Samsung model, and I was genuinely shocked. The 2TB version is around ₹47k, and some variants are even ₹55k to 60k. I checked other brands too, and almost every portable SSD seems to be 2x–4x more expensive than last year.

What exactly happened to the SSD market? Is this mainly because of AI demand and NAND shortages?

Yesterday's rain in Surat brought back memories of 2006. The flooded roads, water everywhere, traffic coming to a standstill, and people struggling to get home - it felt like I had gone back 20 years.

On 26 July 2008, Ahmedabad witnessed one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in Gujarat's history. 21 coordinated bomb blasts ripped through the city within about 70 minutes, killing 56 innocent people and injuring more than 200. Hospitals, markets, buses, and crowded public places were targeted, leaving families devastated.

The investigation was massive. Out of 77 accused, 28 were acquitted due to lack of evidence, while 49 were convicted by a special court in 2022. Among those convicted, 38 were awarded the death penalty and 11 were sentenced to life imprisonment, based on the court's assessment of their individual roles in the conspiracy.

Now, in July 2026, nearly 18 years after the attacks, the Gujarat High Court has upheld those sentences—confirming the death penalty for 38 convicts and life imprisonment for 11.

But here's the bigger question: Why does it take nearly two decades for such a high-profile terror case to reach this stage?

The victims never got a second chance. Their families have lived with the loss every single day. Meanwhile, the people convicted in this case are still alive as appeals and other legal proceedings continue. This raises a serious question about our justice system. If it takes almost two decades for a terror case to reach this stage, what message does that send to victims' families and to society?

If one of India's biggest terror cases takes 18 years to conclude, what does that say about the speed of justice for ordinary people?
