Fboy island

This was the best dating show available. There was competition, trickery, and money. I cannot stand how so many dating reality shows (cough cough love island) never talk about the money throughout the show and just make everyone pretend it isn’t a factor. They’re also so boring because I don’t care who ends up with who they will all be single again within the year. I highly recommend fboy island and fgirl island and I’m so sad it was canceled. A close second is are you the one because again the money was a topic and there was actual competing and strategy. Perfect match is a shitty replacement in my eyes. Also the reality shows are so much better when they are allowed to drink because of obvious reasons and I know if I was on one of them I’d have to be drunk. And shows like love is blind and the ultimatum are so fuckign hard to watch bc of all the monotonous talking and it’s also just embarrassing that these people are grown af and can’t find a partner and are so desperate they are talking to some random weirdo through a wall or bring their partner on tv just to really break it off. Anyone got any recommendations? I also liked temptation island a bit

Isn’t reality tv supposed to be toxic?

I don’t understand people being annoyed that the people on the last season were toxic. Why would I watch if not for the drama??

Who am I supposed to listen to???

As someone who cannot afford professional training!!! I am finding it so difficult to find reliable information online. Every time I integrate something from a video I saw I see 3 more videos telling me it’s the opposite of what I should be doing. This is driving me insane bc I just want my dog to have a happy life and it shouldn’t be this complicated. The biggest example is so many videos on YouTube say to let your reactive dog go past other dogs in a close vicinity and let them make the decision and you either correct it or reward it. Now I’m seeing so many people say don’t let your dog get the chance to react bc they won’t disengage and don’t let your reactive dog walk by other dogs. But there’s really so many examples of trainers online saying the opposite thing. Having a big dog is really not for the faint of heart.

Large dog in bed

I’ve had a 50 lb husky for about a year and he has slept with me and my bf the whole time. My bf is sometimes gone for long periods of time for work like when I got the dog and so he sleeps right next to me when my bf is gone. When my bf is here my dog will lay in the worst spots causing us to either have a big dog right between us or one of us falling off the bed when there is plenty of room for everyone. I’ve tried training him to sleep on the end of the bed but he seems frustrated every time. He often ends up going to the couch when my bf is here bc he gets very annoyed if anyone moves at all and disturbs his sleep. I do want him to sleep in the bed but I want him to respect boundaries and don’t know what to do. He has had 3 diff dog beds and has never slept in any of them and only goes to them if I tell him to go to his bed like if he is eating a big treat. I want him to be comfortable and I don’t want to confuse him with inconsistent rules. Any tips???

Sometimes leash reactive

My dog is leash reactive to other dogs when we walk past a random dog but he is not reactive to dogs around the dog park when on a leash. His reactivity does look a little aggressive but I’ve never seen him actually be aggressive when he gets close to a dog. It also in my opinion does not seem like fear but it does look a little aggressive (barking loudly and lunging) so I guess it’s not excitement?? Anyway why does he only react to random dogs and how can I stop this? I’ve tried distraction games w treats but as soon as he gets the treats he reacts. Right now I’m using a prong collar and pulling (popping) him w it and saying no when he is reactive. I know I know everyone acts like you should only train w positive reinforcement but that is just so unrealistic when you have a large dominant dog from what I have experienced. Thanks for any tips. (He is a 2 year old husky mix)

My niece made me turn everyone into a chicken

My niece loves to watch me play she is 2. She won’t stop telling me “ please feed them they’re so hungry “ and make them a chicken with the chicken costume. Now half my island is chickens. Lol just thought this was cute.

Brisket

People who like the new brisket are not from the south and it shows. Not that I expected it to be that quality but bruh it is dry and the fat on it is horrible chewy and panda has way better options

It doesn’t get better

Anyone else just look back to the time they were still stuck in an abusive household and remember how you would constantly just think oh well I’ll have a better life when I’m grown and can make my own life but then you are a loser who is emotionally horrible because you never figured out how to get better and live a life you wanted? Me too

Adhd w primarily attention issues best meds

I have adhd and I am somewhat hyperactive but it’s not a problem really and I’m not all the time. I have severe attention issues though and lack the ability to start tasks and finish them. I take 10 mg of adderall IR twice a day right now and it does help. Last time I went to my psych she upped my dosage to what it now is but recommended some other prescriptions for me to research to add to. I don’t really see the point in adding in another medication if stimulants work. I’ve taken three different anti depressants and I am terrified of them changing my personality/ brain too much. Only one was for adhd and that was Wellbutrin but it made my heart race so fast that I felt like it was making me more hyper. Most of the meds she recommended seem to focus on treating hyperactivity. These were the ones she told me: clonodine, guafacaine, atomexitine, qelbree. Does anyone that has attention problems primarily have any suggestions for meds that helped them? I don’t think she’ll want to continue increasing my stimulant as needed.
