Missing Accommodations
So, I have accommodations from my school's disability center because of my severe depression and anxiety. This allows me to have 1.5 time on exams, take exams at the student disability center, and have leeway on attendance due to mental health reasons.
This has been completely fine and easy to work with until now. I have a professor who is super unorganized. The date of the exam got changed 3 times, the final time being exactly a week before the exam. This meant I couldn't submit accommodations and couldn't test in the testing center.
This then caused me to miss a few questions because I had to take the exam in class. Whatever, I'm used to it. But that's now making me worried.
During the exam, we were given a 5 minute discussion period with our peers over the test, a whole new packet of definitions and theorems, permission to use all of our notes from class, and materials like a compass and ruler needed to prove a question. This was not told to us beforehand or written anywhere on the exam.
If I had not been physically in class, I wouldn't have known this. Now, for future exams, I'm worried about not getting permitted materials that other students get if I do end up taking my exam at the testing center. I really want the extra time, but don't want to miss out on important information.
I've contacted my disability advisor and will hope to talk to my professor soon. Is there anything else I should do? Am I overreacting?
