Unreleased/Scrapped Albums.

Just Curious if there are any more I don't know about + leaks/details.

- The Happy Album (2018)- Scrapped after breakup with Selina to make MDM. Would have been upbeat Pop album.

- Kiss Land 2- Long been the topic of discussion in this fandom, scrapped in favour of BBTM. Rumours of it being released are still floating around today.

- Starboy 2- I've never seen anyone talk about this one but my friend who's been an XO even longer than me assures me it existed. 😭

- The Blue Album/Covid album- Follow up to After Hours, addressing the pandemic. Scrapped in favour of Dawn FM as it was too dark.

- The Noise (Debut Album)- Scrapped due to behind the scenes drama with various producers and creatives.

- It's Never Enough (Drake's R&B Mixtape)- Drake scrapped it to focus on Take Care, prime OVOXO and Abel was involved with the development.

- Hurry Up Tomorrow V1- Alternate version before he lost his voice at SoFi, scrapped after that.

Whisper My Name is a Top 10 Drake song oat.

Not only is it the Best song on any of the Iceman albums, not only is it his best produced song in years, the best song he's made this decade but it's one of the greatest songs he's ever made. The production is cold, dusty and menacing for the first half it's somehow relaxing and so fucking satisfying to listen to, the second half is so badass and even more menacing. It's the best "Revenge" song on Iceman, the bars for Carti, Kdot an Hov are all so well delivered and written. The voice change on the second half is one of the moments I wish I could hear again for the first time, goes crazy hard. It's genuinely a perfect song in every way that can be measured, it's catchy and so damn addictive yet so well written and crafted. I'm still not bored of it and it's my most played song off the album along with Plot Twist.

Is it just me who prefers the Visuals in The Golden Compass Movie to the TV show?

The TV show is a way better adaptation, but there's something about the set design, props, music and overall visual construction of the film that just captures the imagination better for me. It's the world I imagine when I read the books, and I wish that they'd gotten to adapt the whole trilogy without studio interference.

Has anyone else noticed the different mixing on the album version of ISAMB.

After he added it to DBD (dumbest decision ever btw), I noticed that the vocals sound very different. They're way too loud and don't sound integrated with the production. In the original single version it sounds like it has similar reverb and effects added them it to make the vocals blend with the beat. I'm sure I'm not crazy and it sounds different, has anyone else noticed it?

How many of you believe in the soul/spirit?

I'm not religious but I still have some belief in the soul and spirituality in general. Not in the new age rocks and crystals bs but in some mystical way that we don't truly understand. From my own experiences I've found that everything is connected in more ways than we could possibly understand and materialism just can't answer so many of the universe's biggest questions. As for an afterlife I feel most beliefs around it are just meant as comforting ideas to make people ready for death and most of them don't make any sense, but if our physical bodies are "recycled" and become one with the earth then surely the same is true of our spirits. We won't live on in any traditional sense but become one with everything, a part of the wind, the rain and maybe in some greater way we cannot understand. I'd like to think that we'd get to be with our loved ones in some way although it seems unlikely. Either way death is the great unknown mystery and I'm more focused on living my life to the full.

What's with all this political imagery in the tour and merch?

The early versions of the DBD rollout in 2024 had all the political satire branding, but it was seemingly dropped in 2026 in favour of the Tim Burton branding, and the album contained minimal themes of it, no more than his other albums. Now with the "Big Brother is Watching" and the communist branding it just doesn't make sense. Does anyone have any ideas?

How are we feeling about the fact he patched things up with Drake?

They're one of Rap's best duos, and they've never missed so I'm glad to see them working together again (Ran to Atlanta is a fire song). But what does this actually mean going forward, he quite clearly dissed Future, and Future clearly sided with Metro and Kendrick. Future was definitely less vocal about dissing Drake than others such as The Weeknd, Rocky and obviously Kendrick. But he has his name stamped on 2 whole albums purely about how much the people who made them dislike Drake. Now almost exactly 2 years after the beef he's completely switched up and hopped on Iceman. Ultimately we don't know the context or conversations that have gone on behind the scenes but it's still a crazy thing that's happened. I wonder how other people like Metro feel that after all they've gone through he just hopped on Drake's dick almost immediately after, Future and Metro have been friends and collaborators for years, so I wonder how this will impact their relationship in the future. (Pun intended).

Why is Drake vs Rocky even a debate?

I'm a huge fan of both Rocky and Drake, but when it comes to their "beef" it's so stupid it's laughable. A bitter, salty and sad man attacking his friend of years for falling in love and having children with a woman he fumbled. The only people who genuinely support Drake are the lowest of the low meat riders. He is just objectively wrong. Playground bully type shit 🤣

We are never getting Disc 2 are we?

It causes me so much pain to admit it, but I just can't see it dropping, at least not in May. No promotion or build up at all, no enthusiasm from Rocky. It could drop in June when the tour is in full swing but I just don't know. I think ultimately all that matters is that we got Disc 1 and an album Rocky feels happy with, but considering the time, leaks and developments over the past 8 years we were more than due for more music. So many grails that deserved an official release and a home. I can just see Disc 2 ending up on those "Lost Albums We Never Got" lists and videos. We got Disc 1 at least, Rocky going on tour, it's a great shame but it is what it is.

The OG V1 version of Push Ups is so much better than the released version.

The released version is good, but it sounds way more pop and commercial than the OG. The OG has a great Biggie sample using the "Get Money" with a robotic filter it sounds so menacing. That goes for the whole OG he sounds so much more menacing and pissed off like he means business. The extra verse for the outro should have been left in. It's definitive version of the song, it's a shame they couldn't get the sample cleared in time.

Something about Deism that really makes sense to me.

I've only just realised this but deism makes sense in regard to the problems of revealed theology. Why would an all loving and all intelligent God send down messengers and then hinge the salvation of their whole creation that they love so much on the words of human prophets who's words can be misunderstood and even twisted. It just sounds illogical and kinda stupid, I feel God has placed the foundations to live a fulfilling and good life in our hearts and it's completely up to us to find it. We can know and love God through so many more fulfilling ways than strict adherence to dogmatic scripture.

For me I would say The Girl in the fireplace, I love it and it's a great episode. It's just not as great as people say.

I'm not talking about revealed religion, I mean listening to prayers and witnessing our lives. One of the reason I stopped being religious was that the "divine" presence and energy I felt when closest to God was present in every faith, and people of all religions have experienced. I realised that there were 2 options, either there is an all encompassing Higher Power that loves and cares for us no matter what religion or lack there of. Or option 2, it's all a massive placebo effect and there is no God. I still think there is definitely some higher power, maybe God, maybe energy it may be karma I don't know right now. Just wondering where you guys stand on this.
