What do you think is going on behind the scenes during this summer break between filming S1 & S2?

It's been so quiet from HPTV world recently, but there's gotta be a ton of stuff happening behind the scenes right now, for both seasons. So what exactly do y'all think is going on?

Came across a really interesting I interview with Lox Pratt.

I wasn't sure if I could post it here since it is about his work on Lord of the Flies and is also with the actor who plays Ralph, but I thought it gave a lot of insight into his thought process as an actor, which is really advanced for his age. To be fair both of them are, and it would be awesome if Winston is able to be cast in HP as well in a future season. It just made me even more interested in how he will play Draco in the series. Here's the link if anyone wants to watch.

If you like cozy feel good movies, you might like Remarkably Bright Creatures on Netflix.

I really enjoyed this movie. I wouldn't say it's like great cinema or high art, but it has a really cozy feel to it with the coastal vibes, the characters are warm kind people and an octopus, who are dealing with personal tragedies, and it just made me feel sort of comforted afterwards.

The acting, especially by Sally Field is wonderful. Yeah, it's a little cheesy, but sometimes that's what hits the spot. I haven't seen anyone talking about this on here, and I know it's not quite the right match for the typical reddit demographic, but I just wanted to plug this movie in case anyone is feeling down and is looking for a comforting watch. There are definitely some sad moments, but it's not a sad movie.

Do you think the vibe of the show will be similar at all to some of these other YA shows?

Shows like A Series of Unfortunate Events, His Dark Materials, Percy Jackson, Stranger Things or Wednesday. They are all pretty different in the way they tackle dark/heavy subjects, and the way the shows mix dark/humorous/emotional moods.

Would you prefer if the show is similar in some ways to these shows, or do you want to see something totally different?

It's pretty good timing that the show will start airing about a year after ST ended.

Similar audience, huge gap in the market left after a decade of ST. A new supernatural mystery show centered around a group of young friends, and set in a nostalgic time period.

It could really culturally take over the place ST has held in the television landscape.

*ETA ST=Stranger Things.
