Seeking psychiatrist in SG as a foreigner

Hey everyone. I’ve been suffering from severe mental illness (mood swings, auditory hallucinations, etc) with self harm thoughts... I’ve been wanting to go to SG to look for a psychiatrist as a foreigner/tourist, hoping to find one that can prescribe medicine to help me as the one I’m taking currently doesn’t seem to work. Is that possible? Obviously I’m not insured there and willing to pay private. Thanks for your help.

7 months EBF. I just want to quit.

I want to quit cold turkey. I’m done breastfeeding. My marriage is in shambles. My mental health is getting worse and worse by the day. I have a 2 year old who I can’t tend to because my baby is attached to me 24/7. I’ve been breastfeeding him against own will because he won’t take a bottle. My supply is not enough as his weight gain has been really slow since the beginning of his life. I am sooooo ready to just quit and have my body and sanity back. Please I just need one person to tell me it’s okay.

6.5 month old

To those who started weaning around this age or even older, how long did it take you to transition baby from EBF to EFF? I heard it can take them about 1-2 weeks to get used to it. I just tried giving formula to my baby today and he was disgusted lol

I’m really hoping to start weaning him off the boob for my mental health… 😭

Midwife Gift

Is it weird if I give my midwife cash as a parting gift? She took care of me and my newborn babies with both pregnancies. I really couldn’t have survived postpartum without her. I know they get a lot of chocolates, food/fruit baskets so I wanted to give her flowers, a voucher from DM and my husband would also like to gift her cash. But we don’t know if that’s a common thing.

Any midwives here that can share their thoughts? Thank you so much!

Sippy/straw cup recommendations?

My baby is turning 6 months next week and exclusively breastfed. I want to start weaning and introducing formula, he won’t take a bottle no matter how much we tried. So we’re thinking of going straight into sippy or straw cups.
Does anyone have recommendations on what we can start with? Did your baby take formula with it?

Flying with 2.5 year old and 6 month old alone

I’m flying from Europe to Asia alone with my toddler and baby. We’re flying 6 hours from Frankfurt to Abu Dhabi, have a 2.5 hour layover, and then another 9 hour flight to Manila.

My first has been on many flights as baby so I already know what to expect with my 6 month old. I’m more anxious traveling with my high energy toddler as he won’t stay seated for more than 2 seconds 😅 does anyone have any tips or advice? I’m thinking of just babywearing my baby and put my toddler in his stroller around the airport. Also please share the best travel stroller you have!

Our first flight is at 11am which is his nap time, hoping he’ll sleep at least half way through it. Second flight will be at 10pm (8pm EU time, where we live) so I’m kinda praying he’ll sleep through the entire flight haha also we’re flying business class if that helps. ❤️
