algae problem 🧍‍♀️

chat, I have an algae problem.. I thought more plants were supposed to help
all of the parameters are within range, 5.5gal with a betta and a small snail (I’ve been having the algae problem since before the snail). Lights are not on all day and isn’t lit up by a window.
anything I can do about this?

what is boogie’s age?

chat I don’t know how old he actually is
I think 2-4 months but that difference for baby beardies is a lot I feel like
also he’s so stubborn with greens 😭 I’ve tried the switch method and putting bugs on the greens but he notices and either doesn’t eat it or just eats the bug

Feeling something is right

hi!! I’ve never posted here before, so I look forward to meeting some of you :)

I was just wondering simply if you get fuzzy feelings, especially in your fingertips when you know something is the right choice. Particularly in something intuitive like tarot or spell work. Just curious!!

If you have any other feelings you get when picking something intuitively, I’d love to hear it!!!

I’m not necessarily new to witchcraft, but I want to dive deeper into it, especially in my Appalachian roots and heathenry :)

Sick beardie rescue

I recently rescued a year and a half old female beardie off of Facebook marketplace (her name is Lizzie!). The og owner had the enclosure pretty much perfect, but the husbandry was not good. When I got her, he said that she had been losing weight, less active, refusing food, and having diarrhea for the past two months. He couldn’t afford to go to the vet, so I took her in. He was feeding her lettuce, peppers, mealworms, and crickets :,)
She has been able to move about her enclosure, still basks and alert, but she is lethargic and tiny. Only 155 grams. I have gotten her to drink water by trickling some on her nose and when she was in a bath. But she hasn’t eaten anything besides a mealworm when I first picked her up. I’ve offered collard/mustard greens and some Dubia roaches and mealworms (for something familiar), but she has refused. I even tried a hornworm, which she licked but didn’t eat.

I took her to the vet today. They did an ultrasound and xray to see what was making her belly firm. They were unsure. They gave her fluids and a vitamin B shot. I will also be giving her antibiotic injections every 3 days, syringe feeding her, and giving her deworming medicine every two weeks.

I’m looking for advice to help support her to be healthy again.

New Beardie

Hello! I’m taking in a 1 1/2 year old female beardie from Facebook marketplace. I’m experienced relatively with reptiles (I have a leopard gecko and crested gecko). The person selling said she is sick and suspects she has parasites.

Here’s a list of what her tank is looking like now. I pick her up either tomorrow or Saturday.

“120 gallon tank
Food bowl
Water drinking fountain
Arcadia Reptile Pro T5 Kit, Desert 12% UVB, 24W, 24"
Double Dome Basking Lamp with 2 150 watt basking bulbs
Basking platform
Dimming thermostat
Thermal temp gun to check basking temp
A hide rock and log and two branches for her to climb Fake plants to climb
Two thermometers”

What should I expect?
