Unusual tear after childbirth

Has this happened to anyone else? NOT asking for advice, I’m calling my OB tomorrow

I gave birth 3 weeks ago. I had a really small 2nd degree tear that required a couple of stitches that they told me about- they did NOT tell me I had a “periurethral” tear, I overheard the OB mention it to a student and then I read it in the notes they took, but they did not inform ME. I don’t even know what it means, I tried to look it up but I don’t fully understand. The notes said I didn’t need stitches for it, so I just tried to forget about it.

I could feel something sharp every time I peed for about a week and then it was fine. There was also irritation on the other side, towards the top of my vagina near my clitoris, that still hasn’t gone away.

To make a long story short, I’m still bleeding, but it’s not entirely from my vagina, it’s from a fucking tear in my labia minora and I suspect maybe my urethra and/or under my clitoral hood. Idk if that’s the “periurethral tear” they mentioned, but the tear starts at the top of my labia and stops halfway down near my vaginal opening. It’s also deep, like should have been stitched. It looks like I have 3 labia where the tear is.

I’m so upset and embarrassed. I feel like they butchered my vagina. I’m so worried I’ll go in and they’ll be like “eh it’s nothing” when it’s absolutely not nothing and I can literally see that it’s not nothing. It itches and burns and swells up randomly. I’m freaked out.

Canned bean “juice”

Is there anything I can do with the “juice” that comes in a can of beans? It kind of grosses me out but I figured it can’t be bad for you, like it must have SOME use. All of the recipes I’ve used so far that involve canned beans say to drain and rinse the beans.

Roommate and I both saw UAP

I fell down a rabbit hole tonight that reminded me of this experience. I think I posted something to another sub shortly after it happened, but nobody really said anything. I think I need to get it off my chest again, as it was the scariest, most surreal experience of my life that I still don’t have answers for and likely never will.

It was winter 2019, possibly very early 2020, around 11pm. I lived in a larger suburb on the fringe of what you’d picture when you think “Midwest”- 5 minutes west was nothing but farms. My roommate and I were outside smoking cigarettes and using an app on my phone to look at constellations. We could hear noise from the bar down the street, and I remember noting how much sky traffic was present that night (like airplanes and satellites).

Earlier that night i ate psilocybin chocolate- i had about half of a quarter-sized piece. Not enough to trip, just enough to relax. She had a white claw and a nibble of my chocolate- think squidward’s iconic bite of a krabby patty. She said she felt completely sober, but regardless, we saw the same thing.

But anyway, we were looking at the sky through this app, which utilized the phone’s compass and a map of the sky, and my roommate made a comment about how cool it would be if there was some kind of alien who “lived in the constellations” we were looking at, looking back at us.

Then everything became dead silent. We watched 4 disc-like things(?) appear from just above the treetops in my neighbor’s yard in a ‘v’ formation (similar to migrating geese) and fly overhead, roughly 20 feet. For a split second I thought it was a plane crashing, and admittedly, I flinched really hard and ducked behind my roommate, but I did look back up at them right as they moved directly overhead and noticed they glowed internally, similar to the lit end of a cigarette. And you could see up inside of them, I don’t know how to describe it. It wasn’t a flat surface I was looking at. It looked like cartilage inside of something living, for a lack of better descriptors

When I flinched, my roommate said they moved into a single file line and slightly altered their path- as if they had acknowledged my reaction but moved on.

When I felt brave enough to look again, they had moved back to that ‘v’ formation, but the one in the back of the formation was moving between each leg of the ‘v.’ They had morphed into a shape similar to a nerf football but with deep ridges down the side length-wise, and used these ridges (that looked more like flaps to me) to turn/rotate side to side. It seemed like that propelled them forward, but they also seemed to glide without it before they morphed, so I have no idea. It looked like they were “swimming” in air. It reminded me of some obscure deep sea creatures.

They flew up above our own tree, then our apartment roof, and we watched them pass over some telephone wires before they were just, gone. I don’t even think I blinked; they were there and then they weren’t. This all happened within the span of 10 seconds.

My roommate and I stood in silence and kind of stared at the spot they vanished from for another 5ish seconds before moving very quickly inside to debrief and attempt to debunk. My initial thought that it was a plane flying low was just illogical, as there was no sound (and also we obviously know what a plane looks like at night). We ruled out bats, geese, some other kind of remote control toys, etc.

I just wanted to tell someone who will take me seriously that it happened, I don’t know what I’m hoping to get from this- maybe validation or someone who has seen something similar? Nobody in my real life believed me or my roommate despite both having the same account of what happened.

Witnessed something in 2019

I’m not sure if this counts as contact or not- please let me know if I need to post this elsewhere.

I feel hella insecure

TW: disordered eating and body image issues

Im going to try to keep this short. I’m pregnant with my second child, early 3rd trimester. My man has a type and I didn’t fit it when we met, didn’t fit it postpartum with my first, don’t feel like I fit it now. He has never explicitly told me this, in fact he has adamantly denied it- but I’m not stupid, I saw his porn search history a long time ago and I saw the kinds of women he followed and the kinds of images he liked on instagram (before I communicated that it made me feel really insecure and disrespected, and he has since stopped seeking that kind of media that I know of). I know he finds me attractive and that he loves me.

But I feel so disgusting. I don’t feel attractive, I feel like I look my worst. I don’t have that pregnancy glow, I’m just uncomfortable in my skin both literally and metaphorically. It’s too hot to put makeup on and I feel insecure about the weight I have put on. I’ve had an eating disorder that comes and goes since I was 14 (I’m 28 now). I have sciatica issues and obviously participating in certain weight loss methods isn’t super healthy when you’re pregnant, so I can’t even do anything about it. My hair dye won’t even stay in my hair because my city’s water is so hard it literally stripped BLACK BOX DYE out of my hair. I quite literally feel trapped in my own body.

My man recently liked his younger female coworker’s pics on instagram and half of them are body checks or showing off her body in a bikini. She looks great and I’m not hating on her at all- but I hate that I’m comparing myself to her. He also likes this niche celebrity, he’s said she’s his celebrity crush (I asked), her body is absolutely insane.

Idk all of this is to say I’m really struggling with self esteem rn. I don’t want to be annoying and tell him I saw he liked it and that it made me feel like shit, bc I know it’s not a big deal at the end of the day. I love growing a human but I hate the way it triggers me.

How to get someone to go tf away

I’m gonna end up deleting this bc I don’t want my man to happen to see it.

I love my MIL but she visits WAY too often. She has no hobbies and no friends- I’m not making that up, she has literally told me she doesn’t have hobbies or friends because she wants to focus all of her time and attention on my daughter.

I didnt like that 2 years ago and I still don’t like it. I want her to stop coming over (without causing her harm). The only thing I know to do is to rotate a witch’s broom so the bristles are upwards (when she’s already in my house), or to do a cord cutting ritual- the former isn’t enough and the latter sounds like too much.

Can I get some advice? Maybe a point in the right direction? I am NOT asking anyone to prepare a spell for me btw, just help me brainstorm so I can create something on my own. I’m partial to jar spells but I’m open to anything.
