"Wm Toomey's" note

"Wm Toomey's" note

I'm watching "Unmasking the Tylenol Killer" right now, and they're showing the note "Toomey" left with the instructions. I've noticed that they show the last line that was blacked out in the original segment, and it says "Yes there is a record of this communication."

Does anyone have any idea why that would've been blacked out? It also looks like it was partially erased or something, as the letters are smudged.

I wonder if "Toomey" blacked it out, and then law enforcement used alcohol or something to remove the ink to read what it said. It does look like there was ink that ran on the page they show in the doc.

"Wm. L. Toomey" has been identified. Name will be revealed 23 Sep during a press conference. Sheriff claims possible link to the 1982 Tylenol Murders

Just discovered this. Of all the cases I expected might be resolved, this was not one of them.

Vermont bonus poster

Did anyone else get one of the posters being handed out after the Vermont show ended, by the guy outside the gate? The one with JW's head and the Triplecaster pickups? Does anyone know what the story was with these? Were they an alternate design? Mine was numbered and signed, as well, presumably by the artist (I'm assuming all of them were). Does anyone know who the artist was, or have any information on these?

MX-993/U parts?

I'm trying to find two of these end pieces (the light end) for these flashlights. I have two that are traffic wands with the screw on cones, but I want to use them as actual lights. I have another one that's a regular light, and it works great and is really durable. I've emailed Fulton, but have heard nothing back, as of yet. Does anyone know if these are available, separately? I'd even be ok with them being the OD green on the MX-991/U. My only other option, at this point, is sawing off the cones from the screw on section, but I don't know how durable that would be, and would rather not.

Thanks!

1958 clipped planchet

I pulled this from circulation years ago, when I was a kid, before discovering there were mint errors like this. I believe this is a clipped planchet error, but wanted to get some opinions. Is there any way to tell if it's PMD? It looks natural to me, but I've never seen a clipped planchet in person.

Thanks!
