New to painting boards
What up! I recently had a few commissions to do some boards, and got some free blanks in the process to mess with. Now I got some more commissions in the works.
Anyone that paints boards often have any advice?

Painted a few skate boards for a friend and he gave me some extra boards to mess with. Had some fun testing out a few different things. Definitely need to get some more boards.
I really want to get some old ones that have been beat up that I can repaint as more art work than a usable board. If anyone knows where I can get some (or has some they donβt want π ) let me know!!
Just messing around and doodling some scribbles on 228s. Doesnβt say anything, on purpose at least lol.
Acrylic spray paint and paint markers
5βx7β canvas board
I like experimenting on these small canvases to get ideas and color combinations for my larger projects, I really liked how this one turned out!
22βx37β home brew canvas (little experiment)
Acrylic paint, spray paint and paint markers on canvas.
(Drop cloth canvas lol yes itβs an experiment)
Still perfecting it but for how inexpensive it is, itβs worth it!

Its not a 228, but it is π
I was messing around making my own canvases, and I looked at this one and it was close to the shape of a 228. So I fired up my projector to knock this out! Gonna paint on it as well, but wanted to share before I alter it!
A few recent pieces of mine on canvas
Used some spray paint, mops and paint markers. All acrylic paints
Hit these labels with a little overspray and test sprays painting some canvases. I like it for the added texture as a background π€ππ€I got a bunch more Iβll be drawing on.
Some slaps I did one some painted 228s from another artist Jurm π€ππ€
Was gonna do some line work on this, but I kinda like it like this. What do you think?
I did this with a base layer of blue acrylic, and a few different sprays of blue, green and yellow spray paint. Then I used some water based liquid paint markers (Ironlak Oozies)
Repurposed electrical cabinet door.
Just curious what my style would be called in anyones opinion?
I mix it up with different mediums, but these are spray paint/poscas on canvas, and then some alcohol markers on paper. (More specifically shipping labels)
Hope you like em, stay cool ππ€

Just a quick one. I prefer zero planning and going with the flow. I find when I try and plan a painting or drawing it ends up terrible (in my opinion at least, but Iβm self critical lol)
The most I plan is the outline and colors I spray on these canvases. I do some ahead of time so I have a bunch of color combos ready to go when I wanna paint something. Got a stack of these mini canvases, love them! Iβm cleaning out hobby lobby when they got em on sale π .
I have an animation project Iβm working on using 228 labels, where I have been shipping the slides to other artists around the world to post up and send pics of.
One part of the project is the animation, the other is the decay of the stickers themselves.
Here is one from a buddy out in New Zealand, DEMO1, with a little Timelapse of it decaying. I got a bunch more to make while I wait to get all the pictures back.
Thanks for checking it out! ππ€
