Years later, after ruining my didi's Marriage, my bua's audacity to send just one word: "Congratulations."

"pata hai aaj kya hua"

So it's unfortunately final today! For context, i'm 22f, and my elder cousin sister who's a pilot, 42f, was married to my jiju 43M, also a pilot, in 2018 through AM. We did every background check; around the engagement time, my father was somehow ill that time, the'd come over every weekend to see things up! Everything was fine( atleast it seemed to me ) i was small then. Now, my bua is a villainous lady, ik that from an early age( yes she's that bad :/). Things were almost good for the 1st ek-do saal, then all of a sudden, the family members of jiju's side started behaving very VERY differently to didi, like showing their real colors?

At first it was shocking cuz, you don't expect that from educated families (atleast we thought so) but after constant tortures( for ex:- they said my didi to do poccha and bartan things) another( they would eat the breakfast and telll my sis to clean plates up, after these constant illogical activities, she tried keeping househelp, that rascal's mother fled the maid !!) mind you she's a pilot, the same what your son is.

These things were going on, she'd call me or family members over the time, CRY and tell us her side( she's the purest soul anyone could ask for, before someone starts judging "oh c'mon she must have done smth)Worst WORST thing is, my bua lives in the same city as them, (she's so chaotic we try avoiding these talks, cuz she'd just escalate things up, rather mend)

Somehow she got to know of these things from some close family relations, and JUST BECAUSE we hated her ( she prolly knew that cuz hate is visible in the eyes )anyways, that bitch took the side of that rascal's family, and would trynna mediate things, when we were simply trying to follow accountability from their family, she'd call up and say "mai jaa rhi hun, mai sambhal lungi" i was the only one who doubted this (AND YES I WAS RIGHT!)

That bitch bua really fired things up, polarized herself as though in such a way, that the jiju's side thought she was "SUCH A LOGICAL AND NEUTRAL LADY" that bitch, literally told my didi "beta adjust toh krna hi padega, sb mia biwi mai kich-pich hoti hai", abbe toh tujhe bulaya bhi thaa koi ???And just like that, things went totally downhill, my sister had to suppress her feelings, live another 2 years like that (there was some househelp and things ) but matters were now worse.

THE BITCHASS FAMILY JUST WANTED A "kamaane wali nokar bahu", that bua became a trauma for her! (jk flying is one of the most stressful jobs upar se ye bakloli)

After everything, in 2023, sis decided to come home, continue flying( yea she quit in 2021, when was pregnant) with bhaanja, he'll be 5 this oct( i love him sm, his face is 99% my sis's) That bua even called till aug-sept 2025, saying "divorce leloge tum??!!""divorce leloge tum??!!", "accha ladka tha divorce kyu lerhe ho bete", Boldly, middle papa said her not to bother, after completely hearing from me, my sis.

Today, it's informed, the court's date is on JUL 28th, all assets and furniture recaptured, when middle mummy asked for gold they gave in marriage, the audacity of that family "don't be a mediator and intervene." like wtf! it's ours! whole proofs with records are available, it'll be handover at the court. Today, after various stressful years, when we're trying find future now
notif. pops up - that bitch bua - didi's phone - read "Congratulations", !!!!!!??!!??
anyways, didi blocked her right away. Hopes held, Period.

TL;DR: My pilot cousin sister married into what seemed like an educated family, only to be treated as a "working maid" for years. The biggest betrayal came from our own bua, who kept siding with the in-laws and telling her to "adjust" while making everything worse. After years of suffering, the divorce is finally nearing completion—and the same bua who opposed it for years had the audacity to text "Congratulations" today. Blocked instantly
