So, I have this old moped that has just been sitting around for about a month now since the last time I actually fueled it up or rode it. Because it had been sitting idle for a while, I realized I needed to check on the petrol situation before trying to start it up again. For some genius reason, my brain figured that the gas inside the tank might have gone completely bad or stale over the last few weeks.

I thought to myself, "Hey, if it went bad, it probably smells absolutely terrible right now." Instead of just looking inside or doing literally anything else, I decided the best course of action was to lean all the way in, open it up, and take a massive, deep sniff right out of the open gas tank.

Immediately, the fumes hit me like a brick wall. I instantly recoiled and was like, "Oh fuck, I really should not have done that." It was a terrible mistake.

The instant regret was very real, and I ended up paying the ultimate price for my curiosity with a massive, throbbing headache that lasted the entire day. 0/10, do not recommend using your nose as a fuel tester.
